Uuhhh.... No. You should never buy the season pass, because if people buy that shit then it tells developers that it is okay to do that shit. They plan DLC long before the games even come out, and a lot of the time have the DLC ready to go by the time the game launches.
I normally want to take a shit on your opinions but I agree with you here.

SSX at least used to be one of the best series on the PS2. SSX Tricky is probably one of the best games I've ever played. Never played this new one but I heard it was decent. Worms is an awesome series too, depends on who you are, but its great. I heard Raven was good but idk.

Mass Effect is objectively great. Kingdom Hearts is too.

are you serious? are you ACTUALLY serious? Nintendo is a god damn icon, and their characters are known worldwide and BEYOND the gaming industry. Mario is a household name, and Pokemon is known by all, in what world is generic space soldier #19937 and Laura Croft clone #48 more memorable than a nintendo icon?
Ah yes, Mario and Pokemon.. Two franchises that have been milked into an oblivion. They make Call of Duty: Advance Warfare look like the new boys in town again. All those titles you mention are junk man. They've been used and abused and practically forgotten.
I know.. the truth hurts, makes you even want to cry inside. But Nintendo is lacking more originality in their games. Have they created any new iconic characters in the past four years? Or are they still waiving their Kirby dicks and using characters that are 10+ years old in new games?
You can't make icons with the snap of a finger. Do bands become iconic the day after they release their first album? Besides, Nintendo has 10x the icons Microsoft or Sony will ever have. MS has Master Chief and the closest thing Sony has to iconic is Sackboy.

Most AAA these days are half made with cut day 1 DLC.
Just look at how much content is in the new Smash Bros. compared to Destiny.
World At War on the Wii was 60 bucks. Literally no zombies and 1 less mission. Why should I pay extra for less?
Actually it was 50, because every Wii game retailed at 50. But is WaW a good example of a Wii game? 3rd party support was shit. I agree. It was pretty much plug.DJ but it didn't run through YouTube so better sound quality. Avatars, interface, community, features, etc. Were all better too. It shut down last year unfortunately.
