I've been wanting to get into a good MMO but one without a subscription (Inb4 Desticles show up and try to tell me Repitition Simmulator 2014: Broken Netcode edition is an MMO)
Well there's GW2. You do have to pay for the box game but after that you're done. No paid expansions either, just free content updates. They make their money from microtransactions (purely cosmetic)

There really is a nostalgic factor that twists what the OG trilogy actually was. When Halo 2 launched, it was globally hated by Gaylo fans. There was even a website I believe called Halo2sucks.com. Halo 3 wasn't quite as hated but still, it was different so people hated it. I'm not saying Halo 1-3 weren't great games, they are. But they're just that, great games. They are not masterpieces that must be the inspiration for all sci-fi and/or shooter games.
H5 is a new game by a new company, it must be different. You can't repeat the same game for 20+ years. Look at Mario, he made the switch to 3D back on the N64. That was a HUGE change and since then, Mario has gone to motha fuckin space. 30 years later in this fuckin Italian plumber is still relevant and still in fun games. Change is welcome if its good change. And good change is what keeps a game relevant. Copy and pasting will only slowly lead to the death of a series. Just look at what is happening to Cod. It is dwindling in online population and its losing hype.
H5 is most certainly good change but you can't appreciate good change if you don't want it.
Mario has been good change, that is why it's still relevant.
Correct. Halo hasn't changed enough and hasn't changed in a positive way which is why it is starting to become irrelevant.

A relative of mine did in Afghanistan. After he got out of the Army he went to be a cop in Alaska. Him along with another cop ended up opening fire on some guy because he tried to run the mover with his truck. They were outside and the guy was inside driving it at them.
For my grandpa that's a maybe. He was a US combat engineer in Europe during WW2. He probably seen combat since one of the things he talked about were 88shells going over his head.
My grandpa had a very similar story in France (WW2) to your grandpa's.

Ftfy Also, some dude said this. The worst part is the girl player stereotype. I played with a girl that was a super stud. I currently am good friends with a lady near my age - I am 54 - she is 42. She has hand problems like me and struggled a bit more before we became friends. She went through her VoG for the first time out and passed first time out as well. She and I did Nightfall last night with another friend who is lvl 32. We aced it. She is getting much better all the time and all it took was a friend to pal with and help out and show her some things. She is becoming a super partner for this game and I look forward to teaming with her every time I play. I don't play with gals to hook up with them. Not that a romance would be denied by me - I am lonely after all. I just don't go into a game with that in mind. I look at gals as just players who want to game and have fun. This story sounds strange. Why would she change towards him after getting better than him? Could happen I guess. He should have reached out to her in Destiny I think.

I think the shooting mechanics are fun. They don't need to rethink the series, they just need to make Desti2 have a good story and good mission variety. They just half assed destiny.

-It's literally Call of Duty: Roman Warfare
I got it for free with my X1 so I can't complain but kudos to the people who bought this for $60 and didn't kill themselves.

If you have a mushroom you can speed past the blue shells. Its really really difficult (you only have a couple frames to do it) but its so damn fun to do online.
