Some I have a laptop from 2011 running Windows 7. It has an i3 processor. But that doesn't matter though because it is all streaming, right? What matters more is my connection? (and of course upgrading to Windows 10)
Correct. Hardware would matter but it would have to be old ass hardware for it to be a problem.

I thought there was some animal guy thing that scolds you for cheating?
Resetti (the mole) will annoy you before you play if you don't save. In the old games, it would get progressively worse. In New Leaf, he only comes once. IIRC, your town gets messed up and filled with weeds if you skip through time.

Activision, EA, and Ubisoft, i doubt it, but Bethesda Studios seems to be the only decent company along side with CD Projekt Red
