Activity is underwhelming compared to the massive active member count, which is an odd outlier as far as Bungie derived communities go.

Do they not realize their site is going to be even worse? Of course it'll be active in it's early stages.

Faster than greased lightning. Faster than a speeding bullet. Faster than the roadrunner wearing rollerblades. Faster than a teenager under the sheets. Faster than a child can leave their parent's sight in a grocery store. Faster than the speed of scent. Faster than Jimmy John's. Faster than I can decide to skip class on Mondays. Faster than Quick Draw McGraw. Fast enough to turn cereal into breakfast. Fast enough to retroactively kill Amelia Earhart before she took flight. Fast enough to turn straight white males into gay black females. Fast enough waste a few minutes making this post, and fast enough for me to get bored of writing it.

In regards to the game's population, what the fuck? Why is it so high? It hasn't been above top 8 or so for awhile. Good to see.

Lionhead is a pretty shit studio so whatever, sucks that people are out of jobs though. Even the "good" fable games (1/2) aren't too great, they're just okay. Fable 3 and the spin offs are all laughably bad.

It honestly looks super dull, but we haven't seen much of the combat side yet so who knows. As it stands though the game looks awfully boring but I'm willing to give it a try on PC.

The Forge team is the only area of 343i that isn't incompetent as fuck.
>Implying Arena is not perfect gameplay wise
>Implying sprint, thruster, clamber, ground pound, spartan charge and slide are "perfect"
>Implying they are not
>Implying they aren't in completely conflict with the competitive nature 343i are trying so desperately hard to push forward
What the fuck are you even talking about they work perfectly with the comp. scene. I have no idea where you pulled that shit from. The comp. playerbase loves the additions and they are the people who pretty much define if the game is comp. or not.
>clamber removes any notion of trick-jumps
>thruster completely negates strafing, one of they key aspects of Halo's MP
You clearly have very limited knowledge of the game.

-Crouch jumping is still needed for trick jumps
-Clamber only adds more trick jumping
-Thrust literally makes strafing more relevant in H5 than any other Halo game
I play the games on a regular basis, I think I know what I'm talking about.

The advanced movement just completely ruins the flow for me.

Well you're wrong. I don't know how else to put it. If what you mentioned is "ruining the flow" for you then you:
1) Don't realize how thrust can be incorporated into your strafing. Thrust makes strafing and movement more skill based than any other Halo. Thrusting the opposite direction of your strafe is a great maneuver for example, and it completely fucks up your enemy's shot.
2) Are completely oblivious to the several trick jumps that involve both crouch jumping and clamber. The jump on truth from bottom car/p to top mid for example.

You can play as much as you want, but if you don't pay attention to the meta (which you seemingly don't) then you won't realize how all the Spartan abilities actually make h5 one of the most exciting competitive Halo games.

-Assault plays really well in this game. No problems with it.

-The new map is really good. It isnt a remix and it doesn't play like trash. It will work well with assault and ctf. It's infinitely better than overgrowth and riptide.

-Grifball is good. Thrusting shakes things up a bit but it still definitely feels like grifball

I thought halo 4 had the best writing of the series. It really cut down on those stupid ass one-liners that chief used to use all the time.
