From gen to gen there are big differences. X/Y went 3d, Mega Evolutions, new pokemon types, new online features.
It's not at all like sports games, but if you don't play, you won't see how meaningful the changes are.

Ever since the point was brought up (if I could find the vid, I'd link it), I find it silly people ask this. No one in the Esport community is even TRYING to legitimize it as a sport, they don't need to. As long as the revenue keeps coming the way it does, and it attracts an audience, it could be called "GAYMEZ FRENZY" and no one would give a damn.
It's very odd people outside of it try so hard to make it seem less of something than what it is, by saying it's not a sport, or others trying so hard to find a category for it to fit in.
The people in the Esports community don't care, and neither should you. Move along.

Like there is an MCC bundle I'm half considering at GAME in the UK, except it's a digital copy of the game so they can most likely just fuck right off with that. Price wise I reckon it's probably cheaper to just buy a vanilla xbone and get MCC/BF4 second hand or for the cheapest price.
you could get EA access instead of buying bf4. with lolEA access you can play titanfall and battlefield 4 with dragon age inquisiton on the way soon. i mean that's what a proper jew would do.
Just here to second that. EA access is a pretty good deal if you want to save some money. BF4, Titanfall, Dragon Age, Peggle 2, PvZGW, NfS, are all great games and if you're into sports games, they have a lot of those too.
