I don't think it works like that...
it's been a thing for a while now...
Actual wireless charging isn't possible.

Wireless charging implies energy that is sent through the air to your phone. Which we don't have the technology for. Misleading name IMO.
Not misleading at all. Wireless means without wires. You don't need to plug your phone into anything for wireless charging - just put it on the pad.

It does. I used my charging pad on my Nexus 4 for my main charger. Worked just as efficiently as plugging it in.

Getting the iPhone 6+. Not even mad.
I sure hope you're not getting the 128gb flavor for almost $1000...

>t mobile
It's the only choice on the Apple site that allows for off-contract pricing. Purely for demonstration.

Apple needs to stop pooping these out every year.
It's fine if they do this annually, but they should at least try to top what other flagship Android phones that have been on the market for a while. Bring me something new, not something that Android phones already have. Apple has been playing keep-up with Android phones for years now.

Don't like it don't join. Plain and simple.

So, we're going to turn away men and women who are willing to serve their country loyally and faithfully...because they don't believe in a God and would rather not express that belief?

That's fucking stupid.

Pretty much. People like that shouldn't be in the military anyway. Small minded drama queens. There are bigger problems than this.
I thought the military valued the constitution...

I'm split on this. One one hand you obviously have corporations bribing officials. On the other hand donating to your candidate can be viewed as an expression of your 1st Amendment and restricting that would be restricting the 1st Amendment. Really interested to see where this goes. Although seeing as how politicians, especially Senators, are wealthy individuals they have friends and connections who do donate large amounts to campaign funds.

Here's a list of the top 50 richest Senators, with the top 10 consisting of 7 Democrats (tells you a lot with just that)
http://www.rollcall.com/50richest/the-50-richest-members-of-congress-112th.html
The first amendment applies to people.

Corporations and  Super PACs are not people
Actually, corporations are people. Defined by legal standards of course and can express Constitutional rights
That's the problem - corporations shouldn't be legally defined as people. Corporations are made up of people, but it shouldn't have the constitutional rights of a person, itself.

I don't think it is. People being obsessed with not hurting others' feelings is ruining this country. What do you think?
On the other hand, we have people like you who are obsessed with hurting others' feelings.
I'm far from obsessed, kiddo.
I don't think I've ever seen a post from you that wasn't demeaning in one form or another, to some degree or another - including your reply to my previous post.

Quote
A Christian who battered his cross-dressing gay teenage flatmate in his sleep and left a claw hammer embedded in his brain has been sent to a high security hospital after being found guilty of attempted murder.

Connor Huntley suffered ‘life-changing’ injuries and a chunk of his skull was removed after the brutal homophobic attack in the house he shared with Joseph Williams.

His 21-year-old attacker was sentenced to 14 years in prison at the Old Bailey today, with the judge saying it was only the skill of medics who prevented Mr Huntley from dying.

Williams, who came from a Catholic background, had previously made disparaging remarks about gay men, whilst in contrast Mr Huntley was openly gay and often wore women’s clothes and make-up.

The court heard Williams picked up a hammer and went into the bedroom of his sleeping flatmate, who was just 18 at the time, in Margate on May 28 last year.

Yeah, I'm thinking about doing the next one where there's a head's-up. Like "Steam give away at [date/time]"

I'll try to have some with more britbong-friendly times, too.

Dude I rode that when I was visiting SoCal last summer. It was a fun ride.

On the subject of SoCal weather, I hated it. The weather was the exact same the whole month I was there. 80 degrees and not a cloud in sight EVERYDAY. I don't know how you guys deal with it, I like some variation in my weather.
Yeah, I totally understand. The reliability of the weather is nice for a while, but I've lived here for 20 years now, and it's pretty old. I want some variety.

They say "two trains" in DC as if that's a lot. The DC Metro is really easy to navigate. He probably takes the Green/Yellow line, changes at Red, and gets off a Judiciary Square. That's like, 10 minutes.

I thought he drove 220 miles to work each day, when he's actually just switching up carpools.

That's a long part of the day, though. Good on him for toughing it out.

Why are we hating on this guy again?

He wasn't a legislator, and he was fully within his rights to close his business when he damn well pleased.
free speech is bad when lobbying groups disagree with you
Nobody is saying he can't believe what he wants, just that he's an asshole for it.
except for the hundreds of people boycotting his business
Including me. I haven't given CFA a nickel in years, specifically because of their work against LGBT equality.

The Cathy family can hold whatever beliefs they want, and have the First Amendment right to express those beliefs. That doesn't mean I don't think they're terrible people. They've lost a customer for life.

Relevant:

You're punishing their business and it's workers because the family votes the wrong way. It's totally legal of course,  as it should be, but don't act like it follows the ideals of free speech to punish someone economically for using it, just because it's people doing it rather than an institution.

I think Tom Cruise and John Travolta are loons but I don't punish the people who work with them by boycotting their projects.

It runs counter to free speech and market competition.
Free speech doesn't guarantee you an audience or free you from criticism.

The sad part is, they probably even aren't affected by people boycotting, because people who support CFA and align with their beliefs, specifically show up to CFA to support them, so that CFA can continue to donate millions of dollars to anti-LGBT organizations.

If you don't care about the politics of the companies you support - fine.

But I do. I cannot, in good faith, give money to a company that works to keep Americans unequal.

Because proving God destroys faith
So then nobody can claim they know God exists. Because to know something such as "(x) exists" means to have some sort of proof or evidence.

Yes, most cultures and groups have their own beliefs on deities and/or afterlife, but I'm talking specifically about the Christian God.
If we're talking specifically about the Abrahamic God, then yes I agree.

If we're assuming the Bible was never written, a very similar God would've likely developed in its stead. If the Bible were erased from history now, no other similar God would likely be invented.

>implying God was invented
So why is your God the "real" one, and not the literally hundreds of other gods that people have believed in throughout history?
Because unlike Religions, I don't just worship my god, I fellowship with Him.
You can't have fellowship if there is only 1 person.

"Taste and see that the Lord is good."
Until you've done that, you'll never know what is true.
None of that really supports your argument.
Yes it does.
Worshipping an image doesn't make it a God.

But if that image responds.....

I don't worship an image. I worship a God who has made Himself known in my life. You haven't experienced the same, and so you don't believe the same as me. That's fine.

But if you had, you wouldn't have a doubt in your mind that there is a God. He's made it blatantly obvious for me many times.

He has done what all other Gods have failed to do: respond
..and your proof of communicating with God is...?

How do you know it's the Christian God? How do you know it isn't Ra the Sun God? Or Odin? Did they tell you who they were?

FDR was pretty good.
I almost made my worst a four way tie because of him. He is terrible in the fact that he increased the size of the government way too much. Not to mention he made one of the most broken welfare systems in the world.
Just forget about the fact that he ended the Depression, created tens of thousands of jobs, and led us through the deadliest war in European history, right?
Nobody is 100% bad. Of course even the bad ones did some good things.
