Serious / Re: 6th District UPHOLDS gay marriage ban
« on: November 07, 2014, 10:50:17 AM »
The Federal government needs to overrule the states when it comes to this shit. Make marriage equality the same everywhere. Anyone can get married to whomever they like, as long as they meet the age requirements.
I wager that this decision will lead to that. This will be kicked up to SCOTUS and there will be a federal ruling.

It's The states right.
oh really? It's the states' right to be fucking stupid?

Yep. Your opinion is that its stupid, but the majority people in those states don't share your opinion.
But this wasn't about the majority of the people of those states, this was about the 6th Circuit's decision.

What hang-ups did you experience when buying your cars considering your age? Did dealers balk or were they uneasy?

« on: November 06, 2014, 08:16:32 PM »
Because liberals have feelings

duhdoy

5474
Yeah, because dictatorships and theocracies don't have ideologies...
How is that at all relevant? Not having a democracy =/= having a dictatorship or theocracy.
Because you implied that political ideologies only exist under democracy.

Duh.

Democrat circle jerk! "Hurr Reagan Bad"

Y'all are just jealous you've never had a democrat president as great as Ronald.
Republicans would hate Reagan if he was around today.

How has this changed since 2009? The Republicans of pre-Obama time were [marginally] less about partisan bullshit.
Which is why I provided an article from 2013 that explains the extreme blow-up of the somehow stigma that Republicans are majorly anti-science
My bad. I assumed it was an article about the video.

I would think that would keep salaries/wages down. "Oh I can pay you $20,000 and you'll be "full time"? Let's do that instead of $30,000!"
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure why we need the distinction between full-time and part-time workers. Could you enlighten me?
Well, I assume it's different across the pond.

In the US, part-time employees do not receive benefits. But you guys have that covered with national healthcare and shit.

But the U.S Constitution is of high moral standards because of it's contents. Again, the Constitution is right by virtue and content
Are you purposely being denser than a neutron star at the moment, or do you really not realise the blatant stupidity of what you're saying?
Careful with the science jokes there, bud...

Does "stolen" mean the cop planted it on them?

 :P
Aren't all LEO firearms stolen since they're paid for by tax dollars?

5485
The Constitution is the highest law of the land. Ignoring that is no different than Congress enforcing laws, despite not their role to do so
Has it ever occurred that the law of the land, regardless of its altitude, could be wrong?
The very fact that the Constitution can be amended speaks to that.

Except Door never stated Constitutionalism isn't assumed
Except he quite implicitly did when he said this person wants a total ban on guns. You still haven't given a clear answer.

Would you, or would you not, support an individual who agreed with absolutely everything you say except on the issue of guns, wherein they want a total ban?
No
So now you understand how I feel about Ron Paul. We took the long way to get there, but we got there.
>disregarding everything i said
>twisting my words

Really, I feel sorry for your students
