I don't like urin-water.
It's a good thing this is a delicious IPA and not a Coors, then.

I am not a fan of beer. I drink rum.
Rum is an acceptable substitute.

I'd really like a Porsche for my next car. Maybe a lightly used Carrera
Newer or older version?
The 2014's are really nice, but I'd probably settle for a '10 or so.

Most people find Rand to be babby's first (x). That said, I haven't read any of her work.

Life begins at conception. To kill a pregnant woman who has thus far decided to keep the baby is, as far as it matters, ending two lives.
Then those two things are in conflict. If life begins at conception, we shouldn't have abortions.
That's not true. There's nothing inherently wrong with ending an innocent life.
...which brings me back to my original question of why it's a double homicide.

Depending how far along the pregnancy is, it should count as a double homicide because it's killing two people.

I'm not sure what you're so confused about.
If she's within the legal window for an abortion, should it still be a double homicide?

You guys don't reschedule?
Not on possible rain. Games are only rescheduled if it's actually raining most of the day or if the fields are too muddy from a recent rain.

I'm adamantly pro-choice.

Why does killing a pregnant woman get you two counts of manslaughter/murder/etc?

I don't understand why people hate anime so much. Don't like it? Don't watch it.
...i don't.

why does that mean i can't hate it

that's just retarded
that's just an incredibly stupid thing to say

epsira, how could you like that post?
unbelievable
I don't see why disliking anime means people need to shit on it.

I don't like RomComs, but I don't complain about them. I just don't watch them.

...is this bizarro Meta day or something?
I'm not saying I necessarily agree with those labels. I'm just saying most of them in some fashion are applicable on some level to the Democrats.

Indeed, even your own labels could be questioned.
While I don't disagree that there are a few Dems that fall into some of those catagories, the things I listed are something that many more Republican candidates identify with. Some of those things are even written into their platform.

There aren't an overwhelming number of Democratic leaders who are anti-Israel, anti-America, anti-religion. You can't win if you aren't a Christian in the US. I doubt I'll see a Jewish or Muslim president in my lifetime, much less an atheist. I don't know a single politician who is anti-America...

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.  FUCKING LET HIM RUN.

Whether it be him, Michell Bachmann, Rubio or hell Ted Cruz again, they would get throttled on National TV by Hillary, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders (if that old fart actually runs)

We just had another Bush in office nearly 8 years ago, and it was one of America's worst times.  Americans aren't holding their breath for a third Bush to waddle into the office and make an idiot out of himself, and us.

Zero chance a Dem wins in 2016.

Rubio all day

Zero chance?  Glad you have that crystal ball handy, or there's gonna be egg on your face in a couple of years.

What makes you so sure that a Democrat won't win the Presidency in 2016?  Is it because Republicans took the Senate and House this year thanks to idiotic apathetic Dems?
It's quite the opposite, actually. Republicans have zero chance to win the White House in 2016.

You can't win on a platform that alienates a majority of the country. Republicans are anti-gay, anti-women, anti-minority, anti-poor people, anti-immigrant, and anti-nonchristian.

State elections, yeah, it's possible and we saw it. White House? Nope.

I honestly feel bad for Jeb. I haven't followed his political career too closely, but from a cursory glance he seems much more reasonable than Bush 43, but his name is tarnished by GWB's legacy.

The Flood / My local Cars & Coffee has been shut down
« on: December 15, 2014, 09:47:15 PM »
AKA "NO FUN ALLOWED!!"
http://millionairecarclub.com/cars-and-coffee-irvine-shut-down/

Quote
Cars and Coffee Irvine has been ordered to shut down.
Cars and Coffee Irvine is a ritual amongst Southern California car enthusiasts. This event that attracts exotic and unique car owners, car clubs and manufacturers from around the globe to show off their goods is practically a California car culture institution.

Cars and Coffee Irvine came to be in October of 2006 and has been growing strong since. The meet was an evolution of a gathering of car enthusiasts getting together at crystal cove in Orange County California.
Rumor has it that there were noise complaints from the owners of a hotel and apartments that are under construction next door. The organizers of C&C Irvine have been asking car owners to “keep their revs low” this entire year and there has been as consistent police presence outside the event to discourage burnouts. These measures did not stop the occasional showboater who thought it would be cool to light up his tires. To make matters worse, the crowd that stands by the exits, eggs drivers on when they do not see the police.
The event is held in a lot that is adjacent to office buildings occupied by Taco Bell, Mazda, and Ford. There is speculation  that the Irvine Company, which owns the nearby residential construction project is behind the complaints of noise.

That's too bad. Irvine and the surrounding rich cities have tons of beautiful cars to be seen and shown off.
