I'm fine with calling you a he or she, just, I believe it's a disorder.
Well, some of the stuff associated with it is a disorder. Simply being trans isn't a disorder.

I would post more if there was something interesting to talk about on here.

Why can't you write sentences like a normal human being? This is Serious, after all.

I'm sure if I spammed stupid threads I'd be up there, too...

Hey, is that a stick lodged in your butt?
Just calling it like it is. Foxy's threads/posts rarely have any discussion value.

>thread about obummer crashing a wedding
Only barely. The Secret Service are the ones that cleared out the wedding and Obama didn't even know about it. They were moved to a nicer spot on the grounds and Obama apologized.

In my eyes, if you have a dick you're a man.

I will call you a man. Not to piss you off or anything petty like that. Its because you LITERALLY ARE a man.

So say that they had surgery to remove the crown jewels, what would you then call them?
XX or XY
Gender has nothing to do with your chromosomes.
Masculinity is based off the biological traits of males and femininity is based off the biological traits of females. So yes gender is related to sex.
It's really not that simple. Asserting so makes you look pretty ignorant of the subject.
If you're insane enough to say that there's no correlation between gender and sex then there's no discussion to be had. It's not like I'm saying transgenders are bad people or that sex change is wrong, I'm just saying that gender isn't a social construct and that you can't have a gender without a correlating sex, unless you devalue the word gender to mean any type of personality.
And my point is that just because you're XX or XY doesn't mean your gender matches your sex.

People can do whatever they want to their bodies, but I just hate when they expect the rest of the world to keep up with it, and flip out on anyone who doesn't.  I don't think establishments should be sued because they don't have three types of bathrooms.  I don't mind calling someone by a different pronoun, but they should expect it to take getting used to, and not be a pretentious cunt about every time someone screws it up.
But i'm talking about the people who deliberately and continually call someone by the wrong name.

The following order;

I, IV, II, VI, III, V, TCW
I thought the recommended order was 4,5,2,3,6. Episode 1 is wholly unnecessary

I genuinely don't give a fuck how people identify or refer to themselves.

If someone is trans, I'm willing to start using the correct pronoun if they'd like me to.

I do not recognize gender as non-binary though and I'm not going to bother with made-up, nonstandard pronouns just to please some special snowflake.
I'm referring to incessantly calling someone "him" when they are not a man, or vice versa, not weird tumblr shit.

Fuck off with that shit. This is why I didn't post in The Flood.

I can't help but to notice people who continue to address people by the wrong pronoun - insisting that a user is male of female based on what you say they are, not what they say they are.

Do you do it purposefully just to be an asshole? To antagonize others?

It's not like being trans is just something people decide at the drop of a hat, or they change their gender in the presence of a stiff breeze. It's a real issue that people deal with. One that causes a lot of anguish for most.

I guess I don't understand. What do people gain from that?

ITT: People getting upset that the military has incentives to keep morale up and people happy to work

Except we don't know if general personnel can use it, or the officers.

OT: Obama likely had  no knowledge of this until he was actually on the course. SS handles this, and they likely chose the military course as it's already well protected and cheaper for security.

ITT: People getting upset over something he likely had no knowledge of.
Well the golf course at the Navy base somewhat close to me is open for all active duty and retired military. There's also a Marine base that has a gun range. These type of facilities are an unwritten necessity. Just imagine if you had to live on a government base for a few years or were in the military in general, you would want forms of entertainment
What's wrong with stuff off base?
Biggest thing is money

For those who just get in, money can be very tight, especially if trying to raise a family. Amenities such as movie theaters, bowling alleys, gyms, swimming pools, etc can either be free or cost less on base than off

It's also just the perks of signing up and having to be deployed, move many times, and be away from your family for months at a time. Yeah sure, they signed up on their own behalf but it's still something to show some gratitude. All of this dwarfs in comparison to the true wasting when it comes to purchasing new tanks that have no use or buying fighter jets that will never see combat

Oh my fucking god this right here.

We have a bunch of congressmen that are currently lining the pockets of their friends with public money to build things that the military can't use and doesn't even want.
Agreed.

Well, this conversation has evolved into something entirely different.
Because the whole fucking story is a non-issue.

Obama didn't know there was a wedding going on. He got them moved to a better spot and apologized to them.

The whole thing is just more conservatard clickbait.

It's funny, because these are exactly the arguments that the more conservative crowd tells poor people.
Are you fucking serious?

Premise One - Recreation and psychological health are important to the military's integrity.
I don't disagree.
Quote
Premise Two - It's more expensive to raise the wages of soldiers than to provide our own recreational facilities.
Perhaps

Quote
Conclusion - We should provide our own recreational facilities.
Spoiler
And, like we've said, we're not even sure if this is totally free for the soldiers.
Also perhaps

Quote
Trying to say "Lol, the conservatives are only supporting this because they're jingoistic flag-fuckers; they turn around and say what I'm saying to the poor" is a false equivocation of unbelievable proportions.
It's pretty true, though. American conservatives, in particular, are all gung-ho for whatever the military wants, but fuck those poor-ass, liberal, welfare queens who also don't make much money.

Something something bootstraps.

So...do what the rest of us do? Don't do stuff you can't afford.
What a stupidly capricious and facile thing to say. The morale and mental fortitude of our military is, quite literally, a matter of national security.

The idea that if we spent less on recreation we could raise wages is equally facile; soldiers are fucking expensive as it is. It's probably cheaper to build them their own collective golf courses than individually pay them enough so they can afford 18 holes.
How much is it to play golf on base, anyway?

It's funny, because these are exactly the arguments that the more conservative crowd tells poor people.

They might not be able to afford it
So...do what the rest of us do? Don't do stuff you can't afford.

Boo hoo.

Maybe if they had fewer golf courses, they could pay military members more money.
