Yeah, I would be a hater, too, if I lived outside of California.

Light beer is, figuratively speaking, the closest to piss water you can get.
Agreed. That's why I don't drink light beers.

ITT: people who aren't adults who don't keep talking to people they dated.
Because all relationships end on good terms?
I mean, some don't, but I still talk to most of my ex girlfriends on a pretty regular basis.

Well, first and foremost I feel the need to point out that we're not overpopulated by any stretch of the imagination.

With the way our resources are distributed on Earth, certain areas would likely be considered it.
Poor access to resource is not a demographics issue.

No, but they are related in terms of the definition:

Quote
Overpopulation is a function of the number of individuals compared to the relevant resources, such as the water and essential nutrients they need to survive.

If you have two groups, Group A with 5,000,000 people and adequate amounts of fresh water, food, etc., and Group B with 5,000,000 people living without the necessary amount of those resources - Group B is going to be considered overpopulated, as there is not enough of a resource to sustain the population.
..and to add to that, if Group B moves in with Group A, you'd damn well better hope Group A has enough resources to split among 10,000,000 people.

Yes, that's pretty much what this whole thread is about...

I don't give a fuck if two people want to get divorced.
http://www.heritage.org/research/commentary/2000/08/divorce-ignoring-the-cost

You should though. Divorce increases the chance of juvenile criminals (later adult criminals) along with increasing poverty numbers. Both of which have a huge toll on society as you're spending more money to lock up these people and spending more money to make sure these people have basic needs

From my textbook (Juvenile Delinquency 11th Edition 2011)

Quote
Divorce strikes about half of all new marriages, and many intact families sacrifice time with each other to afford more affluent lifestyles. Today, about 70 percent of children under 18 live with two married parents. Kids who live with one parent only are much more likely to experience poverty than those living in two-parent families. Because of family problems, children are being polarized into two distinct economic groups: those in affluent, two-earner, married-couple house-holds and those in poor, single-parent households

Quote
Boys seem to be more affected by postdivorce absence of the father. In postdivorce situations, fathers seems less likely to be around to solve problems, to discuss standards of conduct, or to enforce discipline. A divorced father who remains actively involved in his child's life reduces his son's chances of delinquency
I don't agree but I'll give you credit for citing better sources.

Anyways I would really prefer if this didn't become something about me, but I felt the need to say something. It's fucking annoying when people go around spewing twisted facts.
Maybe if you didn't spew twisted facts about me? But I guess it doesn't matter any more since Noelle left and called you cunt.
What facts about you are there to twist? You spend your time trolling these places. You have no identity or personality - just whatever you think will rile people up on that particular day.
I have no political identity but as far as personality and personal identity goes that isn't true.
I genuinely have no idea what your real personality and identity are. I have literally no way to distinguish between your troll posts and real posts. You're just a ghost. So..congrats? if that's what you were going for.

The Flood / Re: Should I try Rocksmith?
« on: December 30, 2014, 03:41:07 PM »
Yes, do it.

I've been playing guitar for about 15 years, and I still find Rocksmith fun to play. You can either play along Guitar Hero-style to songs, or go through the lessons. The difficulty of songs changes dynamically based on how well you're doing, instead of being stuck on Medium or Hard or whatever for the whole song.

Honestly, it's better to just use a youtube extension and hide the comments on every video.

Both religious and legal leaders believe the replacement of No Fault Divorce with Mutual Consent – would save half of the marriages now ending in divorce. If passed in every state, a half million children a year would NOT see their parents divorce
How would that keep people from going through the divorce process?

I'm fine with it. It's unfortunate, but shit happens; people change.

If divorce is culturally frowned upon, you'll have more people staying together for no good reason and still providing a shit home life for their kid(s). Often, divorce is the better option.

Top 10 reasons why divorce happens. A good number of these can be fixed if people the first issue and establish lines of communication
...so we shouldn't condone divorce?

I'm fine with calling you a he or she, just, I believe it's a disorder.
Well, some of the stuff associated with it is a disorder. Simply being trans isn't a disorder.
Saying you're another gender isn't.. Exactly normal. Disorder or not, I think it is.
Yes, it's unusual and uncommon. Doesn't mean it's a disorder, though.
