Mexican food is best food.
That one picture of the tacos you posted? Hunny, not mexican food.
That's just what my office had that day. Luckily, I'm only about 10 minutes from Santa Ana if I want authentic Mexican food.

When my summer schedules were more open, I used to coach little league teams though a program for poor/at-risk kids whose parent(s) had to work during the week in the summertime. Kept them off the streets and out of trouble [for the most part]

I'd like to think I made a difference for those kids.

I fucking love John Oliver. I'm so glad his show found its footing.

To me that's an emotional argument so I promptly dismiss it.
Then you're wrong.

Just saying I don't see the point in locking threads just because an argument is going on.
I do.

*whose
Anyone who uses "whose" instead of "who's" belongs in a work camp.
So...anyone who understand the English language?
"Whose" is a made up word, invented because it's what "who's" sounds like phonetically. It makes me cringe every time someone uses it.
They mean different things, though. "Whose" is possessive. "Who's" is a contraction of who and is.
Oh, great. You're right again. Whatever, "whose" still sounds so wrong to me. Like when someone says "irregardless".
I'm sorry the rules of the English language don't sit well with you.

I never finished Soul Eater. I have like, 4 episodes left from like...a year ago.

Mainly watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood right now. Although the first few episodes are a bit dull in that they follow a lot of stuff that happened in the first series, but whatever. If this was the first FMA I watched, I wouldn't be complaining >.>
I find FMA:B far superior to FMA. It touches on stuff you saw in FMA, but is much more thorough in the storytelling.

It's no wonder places are starting to turn off comments.
I wish more places would do that. It seriously helps nothing.

So, tomorrow begins the construction on California's high speed rail from Fresno to Bakersfield. I was trying to research more info about it, but every god damn article is littered with "this will only import more illegal immigrants", "just pandering to the homos" and some shit about Islamic extremists.

Holy shit, fucking comment sections are toxic.

The skyscraper?
came around before the 1950s.

Although I'm mostly concerned with my classmate's belief that we did not have ploughs until this century.
For real. What did he think slaves pushed around in the dirt? Sticks?

>implying all gyms cost money
I've literally never been to a free gym. The only gyms I've used that didn't cost money to get into were ones at my college, and ones at my apartment complexes, but both were paid through dues.

Entire? I doubt it, but it's not uncommon for kids to try to pass off entire sections/pages of plagiarized material. Take it to the administration if you feel like it's truly unfair. Hope you're not trying to bullshit them, though.

Not sure how your teacher is proving it if you didn't do it on a computer.
yeah I've talken to some other people about it and I'm just waiting for a response at this point, hopefully i don't have to re-write it but I'm prepared in case i do.
The only plaigarism programs I know of only handle typed papers. How did your teacher check your hand-written paper?

The Flood / How do you take your coffee?
« on: January 05, 2015, 11:31:25 AM »
I toss a little splash of creamer in the bottom of my mug, then top it off with regular coffee. My office always has decaf and vanilla-nut-something, but they aren't as good.
