Stats don't mean much on the battlefield.
your performance "on the battlefield" = stats
bad stats = bad player
this is an objective fact
Not really. If you're like me and play mostly objective game types, your k/d, accuracy, etc, don't matter as much as capping a point. There's games where I'll go 4-12 but have some of the most points on my team, others I'll go 25-6 and toward the bottom.

I listened to the first episode - have to get around to the second.
And I do believe something like this could change things - I believe Adnan has filed a court motion.
Yeah, I've only just finished the first. Episode 2 starting now. I always enjoy the crime drama shows, so this falls right into my wheelhouse

I just started listening. Could something like this change Adnan's sentencing? For the uninformed: http://serialpodcast.org/Season 1 is an investigation into a 1999 Baltimore murder. Koenig has said that Serial is "about the basics: love and death and justice and truth. All these big, big things."[2] She also has noted, "this is not an original idea. Maybe in podcast form it is, and trying to do it as a documentary story is really, really hard. But trying to do it as a serial, this is as old as Dickens."[3] Episodes are released weekly on Thursdays.
Hae Min Lee (Hangul: 이해민) was an 18-year-old student at Woodlawn High School in Baltimore, Maryland. She was last seen at approximately 3:00 p.m. on January 13, 1999.[4] Her corpse was discovered on February 9 in Leakin Park and identified two days later. The case was immediately treated as a homicide.[5] Lee's ex-boyfriend, Adnan Masud Syed, was arrested on February 28 at 6 a.m. and charged with first-degree murder, which led to "some closure and some peace" for Lee's family.[6] A memorial service for Lee was held on March 11 at Woodlawn High School.[7] After a six-week trial, which was the second trial, Syed was found guilty of Lee's murder on February 25, 2000[8] and given a life sentence, despite pleading his innocence.[9] Syed did not speak in front of the jury.

This incident will be reported. "NEVER LOG IN AS ROOT" THEY SAID "DON'T MAKE YOUR ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATOR" THEY SAID
FUCK THOSE AUTISTIC MANCHILDREN THAT USE LINUX
I have two Linux machines, a Mac, and a PC.
The PC is my favourite.
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
The GNU+Linux name only applies when the GNU system forms an integral part of the OS. The argument is that "Linux" (the kernel program) is not an OS in itself but a kernel program. The argument is that naming the whole system 'Linux' is unfair to the GNU project which also plays a fundamental part of the GNU+Linux system. Any other OS software within the system is also good, but they contribute a smaller role to the system (in comparison to GNU+Linux) and so, deserve a smaller role in the naming. When the GNU software plays a minor role, the GNU title would also play a minor role. When there is no GNU software, then there is no justification for the GNU title. In the case of most GNU+Linux systems, it is the GNU system together with the Linux kernel program that forms the fundamental system for everything else. Free as in freedom software refers to the software users' freedom to 1)Live a good life 2)Contribute to the community as an upstanding citizen.

I'm much more cautious about telling people things now that some internet goons have attempted to get me in trouble at work, etc. that's why you don't bring up where you work
i mean that's kinda different, isn't it?
Well it's not like I said "I work at XYZ Co." Just drop enough hints online and people will follow the breadcrumbs.

Giuliani was a great mayor for NYC
Rudolf "9/11" Giuliani?
His actions during and after the attack gave him the title of America's Mayor
Sure didn't keep him from talking about 9/11 any chance he got.

http://www.wired.com/2015/01/rode-500-miles-self-driving-car-saw-future-boring/?mbid=social_fbI was a few hours outside of Los Angeles, tooling down I-5 at the wheel of a sleek Audi A7 on a gorgeous day when a little girl in an SUV smiled and waved. I waved back.
With both hands.
This immediately freaked her out, and she started jumping up and down. All I could do was laugh, knowing my vigorous wave was in no way a safety hazard. In fact, I hadn’t touched the steering wheel in more than an hour.
What that little girl didn’t know, despite the stickers on the car, was that I was piloting Audi’s latest autonomous vehicle, a prototype designed specifically to handle the monotony of highway driving. The, er, driving was not nearly so difficult as the preparation—an arduous task that required a day of training in Arizona, a ream of paperwork and a little bureaucratic wrangling that resulted in the great state of California issuing me a license to operate an autonomous vehicle. Awesome

Is it to differentiate it between 7 and >? I don't know, I think it's pretty easy to just write it in such a way that it doesn't resemble anything but itself.
Just to avoid any confusion when written. Sometimes a hastily-written 7 can look like a 1, depending on the style. One of my old jobs dealt with lots of number/letter codes so I did my best to avoid any problems, and it just stuck.

I'm sorry to hear that...the best we can do is hope. But hey there's always hope, a lot of people go missing in this kind of situation and come out alright. Hang in there and be strong
I hope one of two things happened A) She went out there with the purpose of killing herself, and did so quickly, or 2) She's been safe in a cabin. Wandering around in the mountains with no protection, food, etc, is a terrible way to go.
