Bashing the very place they go to advertise
"They"?
Us.
I guess that means since a couple people have asked b.netters to join Sep7 that means I can't criticize the shitty people there. Hm. Who knew.

If they didn't do anything wrong, they have nothing to hide.

Cuba, at this point, just seems like a jumping point for Rubio. Other than that, does anybody have any legitimate criticisms to level?
>Pro-life (anti-abortion) >Pro-Patriot Act >Supports flat tax rate
Yeah, those are dealbreakers for me. Sorry, Rubio.

I didn't vaccinate my son. This really doesn't effect me one way or another because I plan on private school.
But Why not let unvaccinated kids in schools? It's not like the vaccinated kids can catch any diseases right? They are vaccinated after all.
So you're just going to...hope your kid doesn't get a terrible disease that people shouldn't be getting in 2015? By not vaccinating your child, you're endangering the health and the life of children who can't get vaccinated.
Yep, I'm just going to hope. So far, so good.
I do hope your child doesn't become horribly sick and face potential death at such an early age because of a stupid decision like to not vaccinate.
I hope not either.
But I know what won't happen. Him having a peanut allergy or an increased risk of autism.
You really shouldn't ever reply to this topic again after making this comment.

I genuinely hope you end up vaccinating your child. That's a very dangerous gamble to make.
I doubt I will.
Noone is getting friggin Hep B or Polio these days. Theres no point for the potential risks that vaccinations bring.
"Nobody" gets it because people get fucking vaccinations. Hepatitis is still a thing, though. Did you not have to get that vaccination set before going to college? I did.

What kind of phone do you have? Mine has insane battery life.
Galaxy S IV
There should be several Androird apps to help with battery life.
Most are placebo apps, really. Greenify is really the only one that will help any, but OP's problem isn't apps running, it's a signal problem most likely.
Snapdragon battery guru is good though.
Oh right, that too. Only works if you are running a snapdragon, though, right?

What phone do you have and how man mAh is the battery?
It's possible something is running in the background eating up all your battery.
Galaxy S4, it'll be rooted soon.
But I don't know, it's been acting a bit strange today. Everything is 4G and not LTE in the usual spots where it is and a message was still sending.
Yeah, poor/weak ignal problems will kill your battery pretty quick
Really?
Definitely. Your phone doesn't like having crappy signal, so if it's in that "red" area, it's going to be constantly searching for towers or something better to connect to, which drains it really quick.
Huh. Never thought of that. I know somebody who's phone's battery is draining really quickly (iPhone 5s) and Apple says there's nothing wrong with it. She was using a plug with a current converter which was loose and would frequently unplug on its own. Something is obviously wrong with the battery though and Apple isn't really helping.
Should she just crack the phone screen and take it in to get a replacement? It's in warranty, but I don't know. They might just replace the screen and not device.
I can't speak to Apple's warranty service, I haven't dealt with them in years. That might not be a terrible idea, though.

Turn your phone off, or set it on airplane mode.
That's a dumb suggestion. Of course it'll last forever if you don't use it.

...so let's cancel a workshop about how to deal with homophobic bullying that could help plenty of LGBT students A Dublin school has cancelled a workshop on homophobic bullying because the the Board of Management had allegedly decided that "both sides of the argument should be represented".
ShoutOut, a voluntary organisation which runs classes around the country on encouraging students not to discriminate against LGBT people, was due to hold the free workshop at the secondary school, Coláiste Eoin in Stillorgan, this morning.
However, the group of volunteers was told 30 minutes before it was to start that the event, which had been booked several months ago, had been cancelled.
ShoutOut's schools co-ordinator, Declan Meehan, said they were given no explanation for the cancellation which came "out of the blue".
However, an unidentified source told them that the school's Board of Management had decided that "both sides of the argument should be represented".
Meehan said the school had held similar workshops there before and been very receptive.
Mr Meehan said: "We’ve been in all kinds of schools – Church-run, non-denominational, mixed, same-sex. We’ve never had anything like this before."
The school's principal "doesn’t want to comment" and it will be "going to the Board of Management". http://www.breakingnews.ie/ireland/school-cancels-homophobic-bullying-workshop-because-both-sides-should-be-represented-659841.htmlGood fucking lord.

I've never been vaccinated in my life and I've never been cripplingly sick in my life. Never even had the flu.
All you're doing is proving how important it is for others to be vaccinated. Herd immunity works...but not when these unvaccinated kids hang around in their own little cliques.

They should not restrict kids from School if they do not get vaccinated as it only effects other children if that aren't vaccinated.
Some children CAN'T be vaccinated. Exemptions of personal belief are a danger to those who can't be vaccinated.

Serious vaccinations like polio or measles? Of course. Fucking useless vaccinations like the flu shot? Of course not.
Yeah, I'm talking about the serious shit. I couldn't care less if you get the flu shot or not.

You only think it's bullshit because you have no personal beliefs that go against vaccination.
Then their personal beliefs are wrong and they have no business being a public health risk to other people.

Carl Krawitt has watched his son, Rhett, now 6, fight leukemia for the past 4 1/2 years. For more than three of those years, Rhett has undergone round after round of chemotherapy. Last year he finished chemotherapy, and doctors say he is in remission.
Now, there's a new threat, one that the family should not have to worry about: measles.
Rhett cannot be vaccinated, because his immune system is still rebuilding. It may be months more before his body is healthy enough to get all his immunizations. Until then, he depends on everyone around him for protection — what's known as herd immunity.
But Rhett lives in Marin County, Calif., a county with the dubious honor of having the highest rate of "personal belief exemptions" in the Bay Area and among the highest in the state. This school year, 6.45 percent of children in Marin have a personal belief exemption, which allows parents to lawfully send their children to school unvaccinated against communicable diseases like measles, polio, whooping cough and more.
Carl Krawitt has had just about enough. "It's very emotional for me," he said. "If you choose not to immunize your own child and your own child dies because they get measles, OK, that's your responsibility, that's your choice. But if your child gets sick and gets my child sick and my child dies, then ... your action has harmed my child."
Krawitt is taking action of his own. His son attends Reed Elementary in Tiburon, a school with a 7 percent personal belief exemption rate. (The statewide average is 2.5 percent). Krawitt had previously worked with the school nurse to make sure that all the children in his son's class were fully vaccinated. He said the school was very helpful and accommodating.
Now Krawitt and his wife, Jodi, have emailed the district's superintendent, requesting that the district "require immunization as a condition of attendance, with the only exception being those who cannot medically be vaccinated." http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2015/01/27/381888697/to-protect-his-son-a-father-asks-school-to-bar-unvaccinated-childrenI can't believe this isn't already the case. This "personal belief" exemption is bullshit.
