Criticism of a show =/= trolling

Sorry to burst your bubble.
>being this mad

Keep crying.
I literally could not be less upset. Are you mad at me because I was critical of a show you liked, and aired my concerns in a calm manner?

I'm not the one who keeps bringing it up. You made another thread about it, along with bringing it up here where it doesn't belong. There's a pretty strong argument that you're the mad one.

Now please stop.

That is a terrible show just like Breaking Bad was. It is all filler and nothing ever gets done.
Ok, now we know you know nothing about TV shows.

Move along, kiddo.
Just leaving a stupid troll response like you do, kiddo.

For illuminati fans, it's good to note that Warren Buffett was against the pipeline because he owns railroads currently used to transport oil. It's more expensive and far more dangerous than the pipeline, but at least we're saving the environment, right?
That's not even an Illuminati thing - that's just capitalism.
How is artificially depressing competition via government policy capitalism?
How isn't it? They're using the system to gain the best business advantage.

...And, y'know, also a kind of blue.
Yeah, that's the point. Kinda red, kinda blue.

What.

If that was someone's first phone, I'd be hesitant to call them a 90's kid.

So in other words.. Obama allowed more shit to pass. We need a topic about all the things he DID sign or allowed to pass. You can't possibly tell me during his whole presidency, only three bills were shit.

We've got the Alexandria Safe Zone arc coming up now which will be a pretty big change for the show.
>5th season
>Show is only just getting somewhere

The show's a lost cause
The show gets somewhere every season.
Yeah, after they've walked backwards and forwards throughout the whole season.
No one season is similar, they all have their own contained plot and themes. Just...some seasons are a lot better than others.
They're mostly the same plots, just in a different setting. The Farm, The Governor's town, the Prison...

I knew it was low, but three?

Fuck me. That's awful.
Right? I think that number is hilarious in contrast to the picture that [American] conservatives like to paint of Obama being some iron-fisted ruler who won't let anything pass.

Today, President Obama vetoed the bill to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline. Which veto number was this?

Answer:
President Barack Obama has officially vetoed a bill to approve the Keystone XL pipeline, marking his third rejection of congressionally approved legislation during his six years in office.

Here are the other two vetoes

The Flood / Re: Damn my great uncle died.
« on: February 24, 2015, 04:52:10 PM »
Just over a week ago, my grandfather was diagnosed with a very rare cancer in the final stage. I can't think of the name, but there's basically tumors growing everywhere in his body (behind the eyes, brain, brain stem, lung, heart muscle, throat...). Only one in a million of all cancer cases are like this. The doctors gave him another month or two at most. Strange feeling, as I've never really lost a close relative before. My girlfriend's rushing over as soon as possible to say her goodbyes and such.

I wasn't planning on posting much about it on the flood, but this thread is a pretty good occasion, I suppose.
That's pretty terrible, I'm sorry to hear that.

The Walking Dead is about character development
it is? There's been zero character development in the last two seasons.
Seriously? The last two seasons have had far more character development than the first 3.
Barely.

Here's how most seasons have gone

- wandering
- find some new people
- be skeptical of new people
- find a safe place
- someone fucks shit up and now it's not safe anymore
- on the run from the fallout
- try not to die

Rinse, repeat.

They should rename the show to "Carl and Friends' Shenanigans".

When does Carl die? I mean, I've hated him since probably the first episode. Can't that little sack of shit be ripped apart by zombies already?
But how would they get up to their whacky hijinks without Carl?
Man, I'd love to see the opening intro recut as a 90's sitcom with dopey music. Rename it to "Oh, Carl..."

It sound so incredibly shallow to me.

You cheer on someone's life that you don't know of.

It should be like this: You cheer on someone's existence when they're alive, and then you mourn them when they die, if the loss was a bad thing. The "cheers" can only be said by a stranger, and that's when he doesn't know what to say. Just don't say nything if that's the case.

Edit: My POV is treating them as humans, so that might be where we differ.

Meta, you probably judge them by what they've gone through and such that builds character.
Why can't he cheer his life? We all have to die and it's sad, but his life is worth celebrating.
It just feels like he's putting him into a character that he thinks he was. He never really got to experience your great uncle's brilliance, so it just sounds a bit shallow to me, that's all.

I just wanna see how you guys respond to  my argument.
"Cheers" doesn't mean confetti and baloons and dancing. It's not "Ding, Dong, the Witch is Dead!"

It's empathizing. It's the silver lining. Death sucks, but it's unavoidable. Remembering the life of someone and celebrating their memory is less painful than mourning and sorrow.

I wasn't celebrating his death, you asshole. Instead, toasting his life.

So you have not watched the last two seasons? It is difficult to have an actual legitimate opinion on it when you have not even seen it.
I watch it every Sunday. All they do is roam around and try not to fuck up too much.
