I wouldn't eat at Taco Bell if it was the last food for 1000 miles.

general lack of knowledge and understanding of the outside world that is rather prevalent in the US
Christ you Eurofags are arrogant.

Can barely hold one country together between two language groups, but we're the idiots for not being versed in the political realities of backwater countries.
Let's also not forget how goddamn giant our country is compared to our European friends. There's a lot of shit going on here.

Nope.

Alright, if denying FEMA funding to them isn't the answer, what is?

Idris Elba
I've been pulling for him for some time now. There's been some chatter about him actually doing it, IIRC.

By giving false information about climate change, they're setting up another generation to shill for them while making the kids scientifically illiterate at the same time. And because these kids won't believe in climate change, they'll downplay its effects and not give it the proper funding it needs, thus endangering everybody.
Nobody disagrees.

But where the fuck in there does it justify the revocation of preparedness funding?
Because we have to put our foot down somewhere where they'll give a fuck.

Mad Max, I know you can be liberally retarded, but if you seriously think denying valuable funding to a cause meant to help save people's lives in the event of a disaster is a good (and apparently the ONLY) action to take, you should rethink your fucking platform. It's disgusting to think people would advocate to let others die JUST to make a point or because someone disagrees.

I don't see why this is bad. Someone needs to put their foot down on these idiots.

Only a liberal like you could think this is a good thing.

"They don't agree with my views... Let's withhold valuable disaster funding that could effect many lives! Yeah, that'll teach 'em! They'll really change their minds now!"
As if "let's use public education to deny climate science that will affect everybody" is any better? How dare they get a taste of their own medicine!

>Implying education and disaster funding are on the same level of effecting people's lives directly

Yeah, let's just take their disaster funding so they die in the next natural disaster! The best medicine is the kind that kills you!
The next natural disaster is only going to be worse because of climate change...

It has nothing to do with my views. Climate change is a real thing, not some liberal ploy.
He's criticising your view that the vindication of climate change is worth the deaths of innocent citizens. Not that you believe in climate change in the first place.
Yes, he is.
"They don't agree with my views... Let's withhold valuable disaster funding that could effect many lives! Yeah, that'll teach 'em! They'll really change their minds now!"
His post is saying that someone like a climate-change-denying governor doesn't agree with my "view" that climate change is real.

...where the hell are you guys that people keep talking to you while you're wearing headphones? On the bus or something I understand. Perhaps if you're in the grocery store or around friends and family you should knock that shit off.

Happy birthday! Here's an amusing gif.
There's a version of this gif that has a Daily Grace wiggle in it, too, but I can never find it...

I'd lock him in the basement and ignore him.

Relatively harmless budget restrictions like withholding highway funds for states refusing to raise the drinking age to 21 is one thing, but this is literally holding peoples' lives hostage.
...and being a climate change denier isn't?

1847
How else do you propose we deal with such people?

Coincidentally I've also never seen a Tesla car.
Interesting. I can't swing a cat by its tail and not hit a Tesla Model S.

There's at least one in my office parking lot right now.
where do you live and where do you work
Irvine and Newport Beach, CA respectively.

I live in Newport, its not uncommon to see Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Cadillac, Tesla, etc roaming around casually. Rich people, mang
I hear that. I drive by the Rolls and Jag dealerships by the airport on my way to work every morning. Ferraris, Lamborghinis, etc, galore. The novelty has worn off. I barely look twice anymore.

What do? Move on to the next delivery because you're probably broke as fuck if you're delivering pizzas for a living.

I haven't. Nor one on the radio.

Those motherfuckers don't even need advertisement to sell their cars. The cars sell themselves.

Hopefully my music degree will get me a job somewhere.
No

>Music Production Technology degree

Different. I'm not going to be a teacher. And I'm referring to local jobs
I'm sure there's a ton of local studios that could use competent producers

I think all people should be required to work retail or service jobs as their first job so they understand how terrible people are.

How about construction as a laborer?

-Stupid bosses making bad calls that comes out on you or gives you some extra shit tier work
-Caustic, bitter, unhappy higher ups calling your shots
-Delays delays delays
-Dealing with public safety standards, and having said public be fucking stupid about your safety setups anyway
-Dealing with working around people occupying a building as you work on it "Noise complaints"
-Half your paycheck getting sucked down the shitter
-Waking up way too fucking early
-Overtime
I originally meant like restaurant servers and such, but construction is a good example, too.
