Serious / Re: The minimum wage« on: April 07, 2015, 09:59:58 AM »
I support a minimum wage because I don't trust companies to pay their employees a reasonable wage. It's in their best interests to pay employees as little as possible.

My girlfriend lived there for grad school and was paying upwards of $2,000/mo for her studio apartment.I'd move there if the price of living wasn't so high.Visiting D.C. was pretty cool.DC is a cool city. If you haven't been to DC, there's a HUGE discrepancy between people who live around the capitol, and the people who live in the surrounding neighborhoods. There's a stark contrast between their income levels, and there's a huge homeless problem in DC. It's a really odd place. 1632

Are you for real? I've never worked in an office before that didn't use Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access on the daily. For home use you could get by with Google and other alternatives, but when everyone else is using MS Office, you'd be dumb not to.
Besides, it really is the best solution on the market. 1641

I would avoid Option Four. You're at a crucial point in your life where you can't let your life be driven by your relationships. Yes, it's unpleasant, but laying a solid foundation for your future is more important than anything else right now.
