Well, by definition, breasts are mostly fat.

Yeah, he should be a hero for leaking evidence of perfectly legal activities that have been known about, and reported on, since the PATRIOT Act was instituted, in addition to leaking information on active overseas surveillance programs that demonstrably aided the enemy, hindering intelligence operations and likely putting American and allied personnel at risk.

What a fucking joke.
You do know that the Patriot Act is illegal, right?
Unconstitutional or not, like it or not, the PATRIOT Act is the law of the land, unfortunately.
The Constitution is the law of the land, actually. Any illegal law can be disobeyed, just like any unlawful order in the military can be disobeyed.
Camnator, is that you?

Then become rich yourself. You won't be punished by working hard for it with the flat tax system.

Flat tax is the only fair tax system.
Fair? No. Equal? Yes. Equal isn't always fair, though.
How is it not fair?
Let us, for argument's sake, say that we establish a flat tax of 20% for all employed adults. And also for example we have three individuals, all are the head of a single-income household with two kids.

If Example A brings home $24,250 a year [the national poverty line for a family of 4], they pay $4,850 in tax, leaving them with $19,400.
If Example B brings home $40,000 a year, they pay $8,000 in tax, leaving them with $32,000.
If Example C brings home $100,000 a year, they pay $20,000 in tax, leaving them with $80,000.

Example A needs every penny of their income they receive in order to stay afloat. There's no way they own their own home, even a shitty one, and they're probably renting in a bad neighborhood with the kids sharing a bedroom. They have zero savings or emergency fund.

Example B has it a little better, but the difference between the $6,000 they would pay in the 2014 tax bracket and the $8,000 they would pay with a flat tax gives them a small livable cushion, but they're still pretty screwed if something bad happens.

Example C, while paying the largest amount of money in tax, still has $80,000 at the end of the day, which is plenty to support a family with.

Obviously it's better to tailor your taxes to what your income is. Is charging higher incomes a higher rate than lower incomes is the best of the options, and lower incomes get fucked over less. When the lower incomes aren't getting fucked over, they have more money to spend participating in the marketplace. When more people participate in the market place, the more our economy grows and the better off we all are.

The secondary problem with a flat tax is establishing an effective rate. It needs to be high enough to produce a substantial revenue [which fucks lower incomes harder] but low enough that it doesn't fuck people too hard [but brings in substantially less revenue]

I love when people get bent out of shape about adblock :P
yeah, fuck people's livelihood

they should receive no compensation whatsoever for giving me the content and the websites that i enjoy every day for free
See, that's the thing. If they were making money off the content I was watching I wouldn't have a problem - but they're not. They're making money off the ads with free content.

I feel no moral complications with using adblock all over.

Max, I'm sure you can understand why I'm not going to post the original Facebook post here.
I do understand that, but I'm sure you understand my skepticism toward the whole thing. The internet is littered with pics of random girls with stories that are entirely fabricated, and this could be, too.

Even if this was true, it's pretty much a non-story. One of two things happened here:

A) Yoga pants are against the dress code and she refused to comply, and was then sent home from school.

or

B) Yoga pants aren't against the dress code and the administration did a dumb thing. "Hey, we're sorry we over-reacted. See you tomorrow morning" is pretty much all there is to do.

I can't find any local news articles about it or anything, which leads me to believe it's just a bunch of social media bullshit that probably isn't true in the slightest.

It's a local story on social media. They're not going to the news about it or anything, it's just a friend of a friend's parent sharing an experience.
Yeah, but all I can find are screenshots circulating on Tumblr and Twitter. I can't track it back to the original. Something like this is really easy to fake and make a scene about.

Being able to track it back to the original and find out the school's dress code rules could possibly put this to bed quickly.

Anybody who thinks a flat tax is a good idea has such a piss poor understanding of basic economics that the only appropiate response to them is:

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

>"Poor understanding of economics"
>Is a poor fag who can't afford shit

Why do poor people call themselves the best economists? Because they have no economy

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
I'm poor? LOL

Taxing people who make $20,000 a year the same as the people who make $2,000,000 a year is just laughable. Take an economics class in college or something, or do some research. Holy shit this is basic stuff.
Uh 17% of $2,000,000 is still more than 17% of $20,000.

And this. Lower income classes won't have it any harder, really.
People making 20k need every fucking penny they earn. Someone making 2m wont feel it as much, even though the total is more.

So it'd be no different from how it is now, people will still save and earn up what they need. Also you imply people making 2 million a year won't need every penny either, when to earn that you'd likely be running a business that needs all the money it can to sustain itself. In the end both a 20k salary and 2 million salary have the same problems.
OH NO SOMEONE MAKING 2 MILLION A YEAR CANT AFFORD THEIR 4TH VACATION HOME AND BENTLEY

OH NO SO SAD

I FEEL SO DEEPLY FOR THEM

You should, they earned it for themselves and people like YOU want to steal it away from them.

As for the "shitty mortgage" bullshit example, maybe those people shouldn't be stupid as to buy a house with a salary just above the poverty line and should manage their expenses. Or better yet, get a better paying job. Man, you make it sound like every 20ker is either a dipshit who can't delegate spending or is always struggling.

Yes, get a job. It's not that hard. Plus, I said get a better paying job, not just outright get one. Unless you like welfare babies.
I'm sorry the quote from a show didn't perfectly match your stupid argument.

You've yet to show any clear reason why it's "stupid". You sound like you just hate on the rich tbh.
There's no point in discussing anything with you. It's like hurling bricks at a wall.

Sounds like you're making excuses. You've not presented any substantial argument except to spout the liberal stereotype of "hurrr the struggling poor" and "ERRRR THE EVIL RICH WITH A BENTLEY"

If that's the substance of your argument then you're right, there's nothing to discuss with you. You live in a fantasy land.
Thanks for illustrating my point beautifully.

Ignorance? No matter what the garment, none of those are appropriate attire for school.

The only place yoga pants, or any other variety, belong is in gym class.

The only place yoga pants and other workout attire should be worn at school is in gym class.
What about leggings then, since they've also been dragged into this. They aren't athletic attire and they aren't undergarments. Banning everything even similar just because you don't want to hassle with it is just silly. Idiots will try to argue it, but then again they are arguing it now. It's stupid to ban everything else because idiots want to knowingly not wear pants.
Leggings are not pants. Leggings are meant to be worn under other articles of clothing.

Axing leggings and yoga pants altogether avoids this whole silly argument.
No, tights are undergarments. Leggings aren't tights. There's a difference.

And obviously it isn't avoiding jack, or else we wouldn't be having this discussion. It's just going to bring about more cases because there is a wider ban.
The fact that you and I are even talking about the distinction between leggings, yoga pants, and tights is exactly why such a rule banning them exists.
