So, I know I harbored some ill feelings about this place after the previous incarnations had been shut down, but now I'm almost entirely converted to a full time user. I poke my head into b.net every couple days, but everything is so...empty. Not like there's nothing there; not that kind of "empty." There's just no feeling of community there. No depth. No substance.

Even though we flimflam each other's jimjams occasionally, I still much prefer to spend my time here.

So, thanks for not making this place a total shithole.

Seems that every few days, another state has legalized marriage equality. There's a few states awaiting decisions, and a handful more that have yet to move on it.

Who will be last?

Republicans tout Reagan as one of the greatest Presidents in recent US history. Republicans also demonize anyone who suggests/supports gun control legislation.

Reagan supported the 1986 assault weapons ban. He also supported the 7-day waiting period for handguns.

The president has named 13 national monuments so far using the century-old Antiquities Act, putting tight restrictions on more than 1 million acres of public land.
