I think you missed my point... My father would say the exact same thing. He would say what you just did, only about the Republicans. Both party supporters have so much shit flying around it's hard to see through it all, but from the general perspective one is not worse than the other, but that's what either side is always, ALWAYS claiming. I have a best friend who's dad was involved with government to some extent (possibly CIA). How far, we don't know, but there's been hints to what he's done. He's very closed up/secretive about anything along his work in the past and I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. We suspect he also fought in Vietnam, since my friend has told me he'll come out to find him playing Black Ops late at night, wielding an M60 and shooting VC's going, "Yeah, just like in fuckin' 'Nam, except that fucker would be in pieces and that shack he's hiding in would be destroyed" and would ramble on in ways that sounded like he was having flashbacks to things he saw. It's happened more than once and in different ways that really lends credence to us believing he could have been a Vietnam veteran.
