Not with that attitude

Verbatim logic: "Did you ask if the socket wants a lightbulb in it? What if it doesn't want to be like every other disgusting socket? Did you ever think about that? Fucking cunt."

Did you ask the light bulb if it wanted to be made?

Midget pls. You were basically boasting about how easy the game was and how you steamrolled through it, despite having used walkthroughs that gave you an advantage over any person that actually went through the game blind.

Not looking to de-legitimize anything, I just think it's a rather shitty thing to boast about your skill and how easy a game is when you beat it relying on external information.

Except I explicitly stated I only watched a walkthrough of the specific section AFTER I beat it. This gave me no advantage because I had to beat it before I saw anything. I did not rely on external information, but you see buttmad I have soopr skills and kick ass while you struggle looool

The same can be said for any organization. Please, this is nothing like a gang. We don't even do things as a group.

If we were fighting other forums as a group I guess in a really watered down way it kinda makes sense, as a joke.

Dude, have you ever been in a gang? This place has frightening similarities
Yeah bro it's totally the same.

I used to be in a gang, this place is closer to that than you'd like to think

So I was all hyped up for Anor Londo because it was said to be really hard and fun. I just breezed through it. Was worried about S&O because they're two tough badasses, and I got them on the first try. I got Ornstein's armor, and love it. Not trying to brag, I just felt pretty underwhelmed.

inb4 Flee tries to de-legitimize your victories

And yeah, the fight wasn't as tough as I thought it would be. I trained up with a Silver Knight Sword and used that and defeated them solo.

The Flood / Re: Why do people pay for expensive ass brands and clothing
« on: February 26, 2015, 07:32:55 PM »
The point is, unless you're dealing with solid colour tees you're paying for a bunch of unnecessary, and therefore unscalable things.

And I said it was overpriced myself, that was the point of the example.
The facts are:

-A $100 tee made of better materials and with better construction quality will be better quality than a $20 tee.
-Some people feel the higher quality of the tees are justifiable and buy them.

Whether or not you think it's worth it is purely subjective. I don't feel it is most of the time, and would only spend >$20 or so if I really loved the design of the shirt and I felt the quality was good. The point still remains that the shirts are STILL better quality, just maybe not justifiable to you price-wise.
You seem to have no concept of the value of a dollar.

I can get a tee that's just as good as any that costs $100, and only pay $20, and that's before discounts.

There are plenty of clothes that ascend in construction and material quality well beyond the hundred dollar range, but there's only so much that can be done with a tee shirt.
"I can get a tee that's just as good as any that costs $100"

This is subjective. The quality is objectively going to be better (depending of course where you get it from), but the value of the shirt is subjective and up to the person who is buying it.

"but there's only so much that can be done with a tee shirt."

Yes, but enough can be done to justify $100, not to mention the aesthetics of the shirt.

If we are going to start talking looks, this is a Rick Owens t shirt

Normal t shirts do not look like that, and they are made that way because Rick Owens is a talented designer and designs them that way. You cannot find a shirt like that at Walmart or the mall. The aesthetic justifies the price for some people as well.
No, I can buy a t-shirt that looks just like that one at any number of factory outlets.

Yeah because if anything should get you mad about ISIS its the fact they're destroying some stupid old sculptures nobody gives a shit about, not the people they're torturing or killing or anything, right?
But see, I don't really care about the people. Do care about the sculptures, though.

I hope they destroy more sculptures then. You should be ashamed you care more about a piece of rock than a human life.
See, here's the thing. Human life has very little value. There are ~7 Billion motherfuckers running around this earth, and the new ones are rolling off the factory floor faster than we can get rid of the old ones.

No matter what year it is, no matter which party is in charge of which government, no matter what anyone does, murder and violence will always happen. This is inevitable. We live in a world of limited resources and space. There is always going to be some group out there, usually many of them, in fact, slaughtering innocents by the hundreds. That's just how we are.

Now, what you do not hear about every day, is the destruction of ancient history, of artifacts that tie a people to their ancestors. You have to be genuinely insane for that. For a people to go around destroying their own cultural heritage in the name of Islam? To erase their own history in the name of ideology? Absolutely disgusting.

And I could care less about the artifacts they destroy when it's important to defend what we have today. It reminds me of Monuments Men. To a point I can sympathize, but in the end who gives a flying fuck about some paintings or statues being destroyed when you're trying to protect the present. Achieve victory first, THEN worry about the artifacts.

Not like they have much of a culture anymore anyway looooooool

People are replaceable.

Statues are forgettable.
As is the average man.

Except the average man and his life has inherently more value than a statue gathering dust in a museum
>assuming each life inherently has a net value in the realm of positive integers

Oh sorry, I mean objectively more value, because a living being will always be more valuable than a piece of rock.
>implying cultural artifacts will never hold an intrinsic value greater than that of any living being

They won't and never will. Sorry, but why is a statue more valuable than a human being? Or possibly the human who's conception was behind it?
Simple economics.

Nope. Human life will always be more valuable.
Sure, maybe white human life.
But that's not what's at stake here.

NIGGERS ARE PEOPLE TOO

Have you ever heard of power in numbers? Size doesn't matter if you're swarmed by numerous super ships who are smart af and sentient. Goodbye Mantle, you're fucked.
You're acting as though Halo doesn't have power in numbers.
Power in numbers + better technolog (Halo) is better than just power in numbers (Mass Effect).

Except Mass Effect's tech is on par if not better. Halo has too much BS space magic to be taken too seriously.
