I would kill for FF:T on 3ds or PS4.

I've played one of these games before, I don't remember which one and it was okay. It lacks the customization you find in FFT Which was a buzzkill for me. And the story was forgettable (literally, I don't remember a single thing about it)
I haven't played fire emblem so I can't compare it to that
Look at getting Fire Emblem: Awakening for 3ds if you haven't. My favorite game on there.
If I were you I would buy the 4th game on PS3 if you have one laying around, I just checked and it's usually 15-20 bucks most places and the customer reviews are generally super high.

The best Zombie game is SSO, it's like Shaun of the Dead if it were American, did drugs and drunk exclusively energy drinks and alcopops
These games aren't even comparable, and SSO has the dumbest story ever. Actually now that I think about these games are basically opposites

The Flood / Re: Thar Be Dragons - An Alignment Test
« on: December 28, 2014, 10:54:53 PM »
Below is an alignment test based off of the D&D 3 alignment system. Instead of being placed being a political compass like the past few, this is entirely based around your personality, that being on a law-chaos and good-evil graph. Make sure to post your results!

http://www.pa.msu.edu/~aaronson/alitest/aintro.html

You are 100% virgin.
Alignment: True Neckbeard

Spoiler
You do whatever seems like a good idea at the time. You don't feel any strong inclination towards good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Some may say that you lack conviction, while others might admire you for your capability of remaining unbiased. You likely prefer good versus evil in society, since good people tend to make better neighbors and rulers, but you are not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way.
You are the stereotypical “Balancer.” You act in a way that is natural to you without prejudice or compulsion.
Examples of characters and people who fit into the same alignment as you include Linus Torvalds, Dr. Strangelove, Scott Evil, Mr. Spock, and the nation of Switzerland.

Hmm, I'd be interested to see what a lot of you are like in the real world.

Only thing is, I'd have to be wearing the horse mask the whole time. And those things get pretty uncomfortable after a bit >.>

The other thing is, I find that people are generally a lot more honest about themselves online. The tall tales and exaggerations are of course to be expected, but I'm thinking more along the lines of people generally being more comfortable to discuss what's actually on their mind rather than what they would be comfortable saying in the flesh.

Everyone always looks at the downsides of disinihibition, they never seem to consider that it lets people show their true colours >.>
Naw, I'm pretty open in person, too.  I'm surprised I haven't beaten up or anything yet.
haha same, my friends tell me I'm gunna get beat up one day all the time, but I'm generally nicer and act more intelligent in real life

I have a Colosseum Bonus Disk Jirachi (lvl 5) and a Faraway Island Mew (lvl 30), both cloned and untouched, if someone would like to make an offer.

I'm looking for Legendaries, primarily, and I obviously don't have a problem with clones.
I'd be willing to trade you a celebi or Dianci for either one. What legendarys are you looking for?

Gaming / Re: Could someone rate my ORAS team?
« on: December 28, 2014, 02:40:25 PM »
That's a pretty solid team. I'd consider replacing Arcanine with something else, though. Especially if you are planning to run leftovers.
Arcanine has served me pretty well. The only Pokemon I'm considering replacing is Excadrill, because I'm not a fan of Choice items. I'm just not sure what to replace him with. I need a good Rapid Spinner/Defogger that fits in well with the rest of my team. Excadrill gets the job done, but he's just too frail.

Agreed, he is very frail. I enjoy using a utility Regirock as my go to rock type.
I'm wondering if Tentacruel would be a good replacement:

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 224 HP / 252 Def / 32 Spe
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Rapid Spin
- Acid Spray
- Sludge Bomb

It still serves as a good Rapid Spinner and Fairy killer, but gives me a bit of vulnerability to Electric types. But then again, I have Porygon2 to tank Thunderbolts and the like.
I know when I battled you your team was pretty Damn good (you had greninja instead of porygon iirc)

If you don't want exadrill and want something bulkier, scizor can learn defog
As much as I love Scizor, I'd have to go all the way back to Gen IV to get Defog as an egg move for it. Seems like too much of a pain in the ass. Also, I'm not sure what item I'd give it, since I already have a mega and can't stand choice items. I suppose I could use a Life Orb or something, but I'm just not sure.
I have a defog scizor in pokmeon y if you want to use it for breeding just say the word

« on: December 27, 2014, 07:02:42 PM »
I'm pretty sure that's not even possible, and that wouldn't even make any sense. They call it the Master Chief collection for a reason, it isn't meant to be every fucking Halo game together.

ODST remastered

Your argument is invalid
ODST is not being remastered. It's simply a 1080p 60fps port.

Dank souls 2
Pokemon OR
TLOU
Dragon Age: Inquisition
I don't think anything else came close to the enjoyment I got out of these 4

Honorable mentions
Infamous second son: if it was longer it would have easily made the list, but I shouldn't be able to beat an open world single player game in as fast as you can beat this one

Sunset overdrive: I didn't play it enough to really judge but it was fun

Smash bros because smash bros

Edit: switch pokemon and dragon age and it will be in the order if favorite to least favorite

Nice to see you didn't enjoy our time on Destiny  :'(
I think if you, Brendan/James, and I played any game we could make it fun. The game was fun but not inherently good plus I'm still salty about the whole dlc thing

Yeah, I get it. If there was something else out that was enjoyable (for me) as Destiny, I'd be playing that. There just happens to be like no multiplayer games that are enjoyable for a casual like Brendan, a more well-versed gamer like yourself, and someone like me in the middle.
I would say we're equally well versed/ casual. But yeah there's really nothing good for multiplayer right now. Everything either has like a small multiplayer that isn't the focal point, or is poop like AW

Lolno. I literally had to BEG Brendan to buy Destiny (which I thought would be a much more hardcore game) because he usually just buys CoD games. He's a real casual, albeit, a good one. He destroys in CoD.

James is a little less casual than Brendan, but still only plays games like AC, GTA, etc.

I'd say I'm less casual than those two, as I play a wider range of games, but I still enjoy playing my CoDs and my Halo 4s and such.

And even if you don't consider yourself a "hardcore" gamer, you play more difficult/hardcore games like Dark Souls and Dragon Age, which are games I never really see myself playing.

But yeah, no MP games right now. Is there anything you're looking forward to next year? Because the only thing on PS4 I can think of that I'm looking forward to (MP-wise) is Metal Gear Online. And maybe Black Ops 3, and if that doesn't exist, than if the new CoD is WW2, I'll prob buy that.

Plus, Comet DLC for Destiny (which I will buy, as I'm sure that wasn't completed prior to release of the game, and I'm using it as a "second chance" for Bungie to see if they still possess competency, as it's probably cheaper than buying Destiny 2.)

In case you haven't caught on, I'm trying to figure out what games we're both buying.
I will be buying treyarchs next cod, all I'm really looking forward to next year is blood borne but then again I generally don't get hyped for games long before release unless it's something I think will be really good. Uncharted if that does come out next year as well. Fingers crossed that some type of good multiplayer game is released before the summer gaming drought. I may end up getting an Xbox one sooner rather than later, it all depends how much my books for next semester cost.
