Its pretty fun. I guess I'm more of a mass effect guy. My biggest problem is that its just too overwhelming. Too many side quests and stuff on the map which makes me feel bad about not doing them all. Maybe if they had more substance, I would feel more motivated to do them but for the most part, the sidequests and little objectives on the map are just too simple and boring.
There's a side quest in the Hinterlands that let's you establish watch towers in the region to deter bandits in order to gain the approval of a quartermaster, which in turn, acquires horses for the Inquisition. There's definitely some substance there IMO.
or the side quests where you capture keeps for the inquisition, or the fallow mire and emprise du lion quest lines, or when you drain an entire lake and found out somebodies deep secret

That's like saying skyrim has mmo elements
I mean big open maps with quests that have no thought put in them. Like fetch quests.
Aside from the main quest.
well that's in most RPGs or open world games in general. There's also some really excellent side missions as well But as much as I love the game, the quest designers certainly could have put more thought into it than making 5 different missions where somebody lost their ring.

I'm not sure if this is a glitch but my game doesn't allow me to spec Blackwall or Sera, so I usually just pick Iron Bull and Cassandra as my two tanks and Solas/Dorian as my healer mage.
Idk, I'll try spec-ing him tonight.
there is a glitch that will do that. If you put him in your party and then travel to a new location it SHOULD fix it.

Vivienne, Dorian and Blackwall. Just got Skyhold. 5 1/2 hours in. Level 7.
what's your inquisitor? I Just got to the orlesian court and I'm about 10 hours in lol I had a hell of a time with the envy demon. The hardest trophy will definitely be full court approval I'm running champion inquisitor, Vivienne, solas, and verrik. Do you recommend Dorian over solas?

It's probably the least bland RPG I've ever played. The characters and environments are stupidly diverse FC4 is bland IMO. It's farcry 3.5 with a lame villain

I'm having fun with it. DexNav is an interesting feature, but I can't say I use it all too much.
It helps you chain shinys, get egg moves and hidden abilities, as well as as be really fucking useful for completing the pokedex
