Thanks, I'll have to keep this link. It won't be getting one for at least a few years. When I get one I plan on getting it young for that very reason.
I completly and totally recommend them as pets, they're so much easier and friendlier than stuff like iguanas or basilisks. Mine would sit on my shoulder while I watched tv or played games for literally hours on end

Was she born that way?
no we found her on the side of the road, the vet said somebody stabbed her eyes out and then threw her from a moving vehicle. She had severe head trauma and has seizures and stuff. We took her back to the same vet about a year after we took her the first time and he said he though for sure she would have died, but she's still going strong after about 2 years

This one was taken a few months ago, her tank is clean now. She's a chilean rose, and I've had her 8 years.
scorpion is dope, I'm not about that spider life. 8 years seems super long!
I've heard they can live up to 30+ years haha
