I'm relatively new to the forums, this is the first time I'm experiencing Anarchy.
Why isn't it always there? Why is it a temporary thing?
I'm not sure. I think its because cheats a nazi tho.

I don't know about that. I think it would divide the forums, though. Then again, there is a pretty big difference between Serious, The Flood and Gaming anyways.

The thing is we don't run advertising on Anarchy because most advertisers won't support that kind of content. Flood usually slows to a crawl during anarchy weekend. Plus it'd kinda lose some of the appeal if it was a constant thing. Not to mention all the trouble and extra work it'd cause for the mods.

That only applies to videos that make money though, right? So as long as you aren't profiting from the video, it's fair use. Not necessarily. YouTube is a business, and as you know, they can run it how they want. You do have every right to post whatever you want under fair use laws--on your own website. But YouTube is notorious for blowing out innocuous videos for... nothing more than having five seconds of a copyrighted song in the background or for wearing a small logo on a shirt. So yeah, videos entirely comprised of game footage aren't going to be very safe regardless of if they're monetized. It's a shitty situation, but it's been a part of TheirTube for years.
Indeed it has been. But its also very stupid that Nintendo continues to be the bigger black sheep when it comes to Game Vids, and not realize that this helps their sales. Nearly ALL other pubs and devs see this and they endorse and praise it.
I don't understand nintendos logic. The first thing I do when I start taking interest in a game I don't know much about us watch YouTube reviews or commentaries of it... If it looks good or people I trust to review shit say it's good, I'll buy it. it's free advertising

I want to transfer my pokemon from x/y to omega ruby.
I know most will transfer but I've also got a lot of pokegen (pokegen was kinda fun).
I have to use that pokebank thing right? How does that work. Would I be able to transfer the pokegen pokemon (I've tested all the serious ones and they were able to get online and be traded last I played). Or did Nintendo crack down on "illegitimate" pokemon.
I don't really care because the pokegen were just for fun but I was curious.
I've had a Pokemon with 999 EVs in every stat go into the poke bank so I think you're fine. It's the poke transfer (the app you use to bring Pokemon from black2/white2) that is the most strict
I traded a ton of random pokegen to get the pokemon I couldn't make (Latios and the legendary birds would never work for me) so I should be fine on my moderate ones. If they made a more complicated system for trainer IDs I'd be screwed though because that was the hardest part to make.
Is the pokebank an app I have to install or something.
yeah pokebank is in the 3ds eshop or whatever it's called, and it cost like $5 a year
