http://games.espn.go.com/tournament-challenge-bracket/2015/en/group?groupID=643397

The NCAA tournament starts in about 2 1/2 weeks. I want to start sign ups now so we can get as many people as possible.

Winner will receive a prize. Not sure what yet, but will be at least $20 minimum. Probably an XBL or PSN card. But I'm open to suggestions.

Its free to sign up and the Password is Cheat. I'll be bumping this thread every few days to try and get more people to join and when the teams are announced, I'll bump to make sure everyone fills out their bracket.

Remember: This is 90% Luck so I encourage anyone and everyone to fill out a bracket. Happy March!
hey what happens if you win...

Also Baylor and Nova fucked up so many brackets lol

Maybe after earning enough points you could be a Hunter for one life, almost like the heroes from SWBFII.
I would rather it be the class system that Battlefront uses. You can be any class in that game and have any number of them. Battlefront 2 killed it by making certain ones unlocked after so many points and having a number limit on them. It would take the fun out of having a Halo Battlefield like game when there's a limit on certain things or certain things are a one time thing.
That makes sense. But for UNSC everyone would just choose to be a Spartan over a marine, unless each class had its own advantages and disadvantages. Say you pick ODST. Your special perk/ability would be able to drop in from your HEV to any location on the map when you spawn. Things like that. Not sure what advantage marines would have.
Since the Spartans weren't the majority of the military there could be certain maps that have the instead of regular marines. Then for other maps there could be a hero based system for them.
there could be a titanfall like system maybe. Human team can chose between marines/odsts white different weapons and the copies could chose between brute, grunt, or jackal. Everyone has a timer on when they can play as their "hero" and the hero could be chosen between games (various Spartans with different weapons or Arby/ hunters or badass brutes)
Getting kills or capturing objectives could slow decrease the timer

Question for you two or anyone else who plays, how's the customization? Like is there much armor diversity looks wise? A dye system? Anything like that? Or does every white Mage run around in the same white and red robe?

It's on console?

Another game on my list...
Yep, people on PC, PS3, and Ps4 can all play together too.
The future is here!

Spoiler
I know other games have done that before >.>
Be warned that the worst is PS3's (obviously). They stopped adding additional support to it.
Well, if I can get a new console, it'll be a PS4.
do it do it!
I'm trying.

Spoiler
Although my laptop is failing and I have fuck all money.
Not looking good if I want a new console...

First of all, I wish you the best for your surgery and a speedy recovery. Secondly, I do play ARR. I think it's the best, and most polished MMO available.
thank you!

I dropped $13 to re up for a month. Let me know and we can hook up share play sometime to let you try it out....if it works with share play.
heeeey thanks Probably next weekend would be best

I enjoy it heavily. Just taking a break right now as new games come out, but I really really like it. It's a great game for any long time FF fan and probably one of the better MMO's on the market right now. Music is amazing obviously, they basically make grinding not a factor like a lot of MMO's because you can choose different classes for one character (and it gives you 50% extra XP when you do a new class, and slowly drops down as you reach the level of your leading one), and various other things.

If you play it though, just be ready for monthly payment.
what class do you play? Would you recommend it to somebody who has very little MMO experience?
My lead is an archer (now a bard) because I made a delicious high elf with a typo in my name.

Spoiler

As for your other question, I don't play many MMO's but still enjoyed it. The combat is flashy and fun, music great, main story somewhat engaging (like that matters), and the world is beautiful. You can always look up some gameplay.
damn that's a pretty game

I liked it a lot. Controls are mapped pretty well for controllers. Just wish I had more time to get back into it.
It's dungeons are rough. You have to learn them with little room for error. Which makes it harder with randoms.

But you only need one character and can swap between classes. I definitely want to get back to it, so I'll see what May looks like.
sheeeeeet I'm so torn. I dunno if I want to get into this or eso...

I'm having a major surgery in late May so I'm gunna have a shitload of down time and I'm gunna need something to keep me occupied.

Anyone here play this? Is it good on console? Is it too late to join in on the action?

Would anyone be willing to share play it before I drop the money on it? The game and first exansion is a $60 bundle

One big complaint im having. The maps feel too crampt. Everybody is everywhere on the map. There is no safe zone with little activity and room to move. You literally kill one guy but you have three more behind you.

This cause NOBODY STICKS TOGETHER.
buy me the game and I'll watch your back 5ever

The order was advertised as a 3rd person shooter action game

Not a movie with some quick time events and shitty combat sections

Telltale games are advertised at point and click games and priced as such

That's why it's okay imo. I joke around at them being movie games but I think what they're doing is fine.

How do you play a movie?
You put the disc into the console, the system starts the movie and you push play.
You two should probably jump in front of a moving 18 wheeler.

The Flood / Re: Gun Laws
« on: March 20, 2015, 05:45:46 PM »
We need laws to to stop people from making their own gun parts, because criminals have to follow the law.
Damn, I guess we should just do away with all laws because criminals will do them anyway. What's the point?
The point he's trying to make is that if you enforce a law that takes away the guns of law-abiding citizens, it's not gonna solve anything because criminals will have an easier time with performing a shooting.
Guns should be registered, handmade or not, so....
Why? Should we register, swords, knives, spears, bows, and crossbows too?
Because guns fire projectiles that can kill people? It seems like a good reason.
And how do the others not?
Some of the ones you listed aren't practical, and others have more broad terms than you realize.
They can all be used to kill people practically.
Tell me how a bow and spear is in anyway practical?
Ask any hunter who goes out for archery season.
Also, see below. That'd do wonders to a crowd of people.
YouTube

Hunting isn't the same thing you fucking idiot.
I'm sorry, but do hunters not set out to kill a target?
But bows can be practical for the environment of hunting. You can't exactly just bow someone down on the streets at night.
why not?
