Why does everyone think DS2 was so hard? Shrine of Amana unpatched and the snowstorm area in the DLC were terrible, but other than that?
it wasn't that it was hard, it was that rather than making interesting boss mechanics they just did stuff like "here fight multiple bosses at once "
Dark souls 2 is much easier than dark souls 1 imo
Yeah, boss design is definitely lacking in most of DS2. There still are certain gems though, like Darklurker.
that's one thing I've always found kinda crazy about the souls game... The dark lurker and the Capra demon never gave me any trouble... But I still struggle with "easy" bosses like the sinner...

Naoto, you should try your hand at Dark Souls 1. It really is just as amazing as BB with the same magic and everything.
Avoid DS2 though if you're not huge on it. I honestly don't consider it canon ._.
while it's nowhere near the masterpiece that is dark souls 1, I enjoyed dark souls 2 a ton, and I'm hoping the scholar of the first sin fixes the ending and it releases on ps4
