I've done it before and it's not ridiculous lengths, rather easy actually.
It's not really, because you CAN do it on a PC despite the devs just because a PC has the ability to edit.
the point of the entire conversation was that pc's won't replace consoles in the living room. The average person isn't going to go through this when they could just turn on a console and accomplish the same thing. It's not user friendly and God forbid they want to play a different game split screen and have to start the whole process over again

Just sayin, instead of buying a $400-500 console you could have bought a second computer to use for web related activities and used a better computer as a media hub in your living room.
It's not against the law to own more than one computer you know.
I typed up a big ass response and then my phone borked so I'll keep it short this time. The PC in the living room just isn't the same entertainment experience as a console. Friends can't come over and play split screen or bring a game and Pop it in and play. A PC and a console just don't give you the same living room experience. I'm no knocking PC gaming I'm just saying as of right now the two are more different than people let on

Once Steam Machines come out which there's already versions like it I see consoles having a hard time. Once the tech for the Steam Machines becomes cheaper to make I see more of those being sold than console for around the same price.
lol no steam machines are fucking retarded And PC will never replace console. It's just not the same. I'd rather lay on the couch with a controller in my hand in front of the TV. "Oh but tiger you can use a controller and TV with a PC!" Yeah but I don't want my fucking work emails, school stuff, this dumbass forum, all my online shopping and all that on my tv for my roommates/family/girlfriend to see I also don't want to monopolize my living room every time I need to use a computer and I'm certainly not buying 2 computers or carrying it in and out of the living room
