What the hell do vegans eat when you camp? I basically live off of little smokies and eggs and bacon over the campfire, and jerky

that's the same exact logic you used against me, yes
not really. It's just dumb to say that games are getting worse when they're objectively getting better. You give two video game choices (Super Metroid and KH2) to an 18 year old who, hypothetically, has never seen or played any video games before in his life, and he's going to make the same choice every time. Games are simply becoming more action packed and fun to play.
he would probably be like what the fuck is all they gay Disney shit and femboys, nah give me the one where I kill aliens and shit

And he's mostly pushing the same 3 buttons over and over again.
There's a lot more to it than that.

Is playing piano a sport? Is speed sketching a sport? Those are 2 skills on par with this l
No, because those aren't competitive in the way that gaming can be.

Like I've said before, if chess or poker is a sport, I don't see why gaming couldn't be considered one too.
chess and poker shouldn't be considered a sport

Any fat fuck can sit on their ass and push buttons on a controller slightly faster than somebody else.
Really? I'd love to see you do something to this level.
YouTube
Also I don't know why people refer to professional gamers as being fat, I don't think I've seen one that was over weight.

If you want to build up muscles in your fingers you would need to use one of those exercisers or do something like finger push ups.
Not at all. Coming from a musician, I can tell you that you can definitely build muscles in your hands by performing complex tasks with them. On top of that, you need to build up different muscles in your hands for different tasks. Using one of these is not going to make it so you can do anything physically exerting with your hands except for squeezing things.
that's really not that impressive man...
Do you really think that qualifies as physical exertion? And he's mostly pushing the same 3 buttons over and over again.  And before you rage and say "oh but you can't do it!" You're right I can't, I also don't practice all day every day and get paid to do it. But that doesn't make it a sport. Is playing piano a sport? Is speed sketching a sport? Those are 2 skills on par with this l

2. Anyone who thinks baseball is boring knows nothing about the intricacies of the game. There is ALWAYS a chess match with every pitch. Its crazy strategy.

Having strategy =/= entertaining

Baseball is one of the most boring sports to watch hands down.

I also find soccer boring as fuck to watch and I've played my whole life up until college

These days I'd honestly rather play cod than halo.  Halo has always been overrated especially CE and halo 3 was the best in the franchise, with 4 being the worst multiplayer wise, and 2 being the worst story wise.

I love how only about six people knew about the Guardians of the Galaxy before the movie came out. Figures that the most Z-list team would turn out to be one of the most popular.
I think it's because it feels so fresh, combined with the amazing casting that was done.

Couldn't have put it better

I wonder what it was like for Vin Diesel to repeat the same line with different inflections. Aside from repetitive, that is.
eh probably fun and a nice break from all his cheesy lines in stuff like fast and furious

iirc he's actually a comic book nerd and wants to play another marvel character in addition to groot

Mhm.
Started a new playthrough as soon as 1.07 dropped.

Fantastic game; probably my favorite release on the current-gen hardware.

The patch, so far, seems to be very nice, and vastly improves some of the fundamentals of the game.
Especially that damned horse...
happy first post day

daily reminder that if you dislike a game, it's because you suck at it--no exceptions

Daily reminder that this is what Verbatim actually belives.

Literaly nobody sucks at Metroid other m, yet you don't see me singing its praises
Daily reminder that you're an idiot and verb's just shitting on the Dark Souls fanbase.

Kingdom hearts is like the shittiest franchise you could use in this argument. The only reason it's popular is because of disneyfags and people who played it when they were younger and can't seem to take off their nastogia goggles. That being said I don't think games from the 80's or 90's are even close to what we have now in terms of quality. Verb your inner hipster is showing

Obviously there's gems that stand the test of time but that goes for any artform (or form of media, if you're like secondclass)

It's not a sport and neither is chess or billiards
So is it going to be Esport forever? And will Esport be as respected as sport any time in the future?
Details man, details!
I think it will always be "esports" never just sports

And yeah it's already getting some attention from ESPN and stuff so I can see it going more mainstream

When playing solo, always play Free-for-all.

And if you're game doesn't have free-for-all, don't play it.
how will I get carried by my team in free for all

Form a union with all the other bottom-feeders in the lobby.
