It's honestly gotten soooo much better.
I've heard it's gotten better, but I don't really trust anyone else's opinion on the matter. You'd be the only person I know who has it, so there's no good reason to buy it (especially considering the only reason I somewhat enjoyed myself before was because of James and Brendan fucking around lol).
I finally have other games to play now. I don't need to resort to Destiny anymore. I couldn't say that last year.

as if I would buy that season pass lol I wasn't even going to buy the taken King until my roommate bought it(he never played release destiny), begged me to buy it so he had somebody to play with and the offered to buy it for me. It's honestly gotten soooo much better. I might give destiny 2 a chance but that's still very much up in the air. I definitely will never pre order a game again especially not digitally -_-

I'll play Splinter Cell eventually but I highly doubt it has the same level of quality as any of the Metal Gear games. Except maybe MGS4, but even then, that game is still impressive at times.
Also Quiet is also the only shamelessly oversexualised character in the franchise. Meryl, Eva, and the Boss are some of the most well-written/strong female characters in gaming (particularly the Boss.)
id be willing to bet that you will not like splinter cell. Even compared to ground zeroes splinter cell is barely a stealth game. You can pretty much just play it like a normal 3rd person shooter with no consequences. The story's are always generic spy guy romps. There's a reason why half a dozen people have mgs themed names here and nobody is named Sam Fisher

Good as in, compared to Halo 3/ Reach? Or good compared to the quality of ODST or Halo 4?
Story wise.
I stop by town often now so I may get the TTK edition so I get everything. But then Halo and Fallout come out in a month so I dunno.
I don't know if I can compare it to the stories from Halo, but if I had to - maybe ODST?
The story in TTK is much darker and somber than the vanilla game and original two DLC packs, and the new enemy help give it a pseudo-horror feel in some spots. It also feels much more focused - you aren't just going planet to planet killing bad guys, at least in the main quest-line. It's pretty much "This God is pissed at you and is coming to kill you. Your endgoal is the kill him first", and these quests all build to that conclusion - preparing your ship, getting you new powers, and then having you explore the new area to find him.
I hope that answers your question.
