Why are these emotes randomly more expensive than every other one when they are all cosmetic?
They want to make more money plain and simple.
Even the shills over at Planet Destiny are pissed off by this.
This is the fucking shit that irks me, and why I'm so adamantly against these publishers. It's why I play their expansions illegally.
They have different tiers of emotes, and the Legendaries cost more. They knew which ones would be more popular, and made those ones just expensive enough to necessitate a $5 purchase.
well I mean if they made all the emotes cheap enough to get with the free silver why would anybody buy it?

Micro transactions aren't an issue as long as content isn't restricted to these. As far as I can tell it's only xp boosts and increased drop rates.
If people want to spend their own money to give themselves a little boost, practically destroying any enjoyment they can draw from it, rather than actually playing it that's their decision. It doesn't take any fun out of the game for you.
I haven't played recently, so feel free to call me out on any of this.

I can understand why'd want him to tell but to be honest: don't. Players should always discover things by themselves.
It's like I would have been told that there's a Warppipe in level 1-2 in Super Mario Bros or where to get the zweihander in Dark Souls. But I have discovered these things myself and I felt accomplished in doing so.
Friendly advice, that's all. There's some great NPCs in Old Olney that give you good starting shit.

Yeah, they tend to do it like MMOs in a way. New expansion is out, with near gear. So any old gear you have is obsolete. Some year one guns are still good in crucible since they're attack values don't matter, but other than that. There's not much point in using them. You can get a stronger weapon from a green engram drop on the first mission than any gun in year 1. Some exoctics can be upgraded, and more will be added over time, that's about it though. What I'm really curious about is next year. The sequel. I'm ready for it. TTK was a big improvement. And they've been working on it since before the original game came out. They've been working on the sequel just as long I'd assume, if not longer. It's a big chance for Bungie to turn Destiny into a great franchise. They have so much potenonal. I know a lot of people hate on Bungie. But some of them, in interviews really do seem to care. I feel bad for them in a way. Because they know they messed up. And they're disappointed. There's good people there. They have like 500 employees. Plus High Moon Studios. Activision pulled them to help develop whatever. Maybe DLC...
All I know is, I might take a break from Destiny related websites come next year. People are already made about some content be irrelevant, and gear being obsolete. So imagine next year... God. Some people actually think Destiny will be 1 game that is going to be updated for 10 years. I've tried to tell them. But they won't listen.
The destiny subreddit is pretty good actually Also I agree with basically everything you just said Have you done the new raid? It's stellar and I'm still getting new quests and missions that I didn't even know about where as vinalla I beat the "story" in like 2 days... My only complaint is that there's no reason to run the old raids. I never got to do crota and now it's hard to find anyone willing to do it

I'm uh... not pleased to hear that all the shit that I spent fucking hours and hours working on over the last year (well october-june time) is now utterly obsolete. Kind of a slap in the face there, especially when trying to sell a £40 DLC to me is going to be damn near impossible.
Ah well, I'll give it until the next super digital deluxiest edition comes out with all of the current content and more so that I'm not wasting money too much and then consider getting back into it.
Destiny 2 should be out next year. Buy the original then with everything bundled togeather. I know they'll do it. Expect gear to reset with every new expansion. Or at least. Once a year. We'll see how that goes. In MMOs I can forgive it, because there's more gear, and more time in-between resets. But I was disappointed to hear most of my gear is trash now.
Yeah, I mean the dark below gear shit wasn't too cool, having everyone dress like shit and use the same 4 guns makes for a very refreshing game. HoW was better because of the etheric light dealio, but now they've canned that and it's just very... hollow feeling.

I'm glad I got off the density train when I did.
they replaced it all with a better system called infusing. Let's say you get a 240 light chest piece that looks super cool, you can infuse it with other higher light armors and get it all the way to 310 (the max) Also most exotics armor and many guns have a year 2 version that you can buy in the tower if you had the year one, and bungie said they're adding more if anything this is the time to get ON the destiny train. Buying the season pass before was just dumb
