I kinda wanna try Pokken
If you want a gen to start on, idk. Fire Red/Leaf Green if you wanna really start classic. If not, maybe Gen 3/5.
I think Gen 4 (Diamond/Pearl) is easily the worst, minus Cynthia's theme.
lol he said pokken, the Pokemon tekken game

I don't like the choice specs on your spiker/hazer
I would roll with a defensive item or a weakness policy

I trespassed on a Christian camp full of children to catch a 600+ CP Scyther today
While driving out I rolled down my window and told a bunch of kids where the Scyther was and they went running in that direction

Did you do well muh boy?
i did okay
i only drove around a residential area, though
tomorrow i'll be driving down a major roadway
where i could easily die
I find driving down highways much less stressful than residential areas No people walking or biking, nobody pulling out of driveways, everyone just driving in a straight line

Defeated Twin Princes, now facing Soul of Cinder. Managed to deplete his first health bar before falling.
I thought the first half of twin princes was pretty difficult but the second half was a breeze. Pretty cool fight I put down my summon sign a lot there

Jesus fuck I'm forever stuck at 53
That's not too bad.
But it seems the rankings are less a progression system or ladder but more just an official badge of your level. Once you get to where you fit you are stuck there. Especially since the amount of Competitive Score lost is significantly worse than the gain.
I read on r/Overwatch that 50% of all players are between 48 and 56 which seems pretty broken The 25th and 75th percentiles shouldn't be 8 points away from each other on a 100 point scale

So, does this one take place in the same place as DS1? I remember firelink being a place in that game as well.
Your will revisit a certain area but it mostly it takes place in a different place that is quite close to the locale of DaS1. Like a neighbouring kingdom if you will.
Likewise for everything else, there are lore reasons as to why they are so near to each other.
The Firelink Shrine here is completely different from the one in DaS1.
Oh ok
Is there really any info on how lordran(I think that was DS1's place) and drangleic and (DS3 location) interacted with each other or whatever at their prime?
The way how DaS2 relates to 3 is really a headscratcher. As Miyazaki wasn't involved in its development, since he was working on Bloodborne, the story took a drastic deviation from 1. It's best to assume that DaS2 had almost no effect on the overarching lore of the series given the very, very few references to it in DaS3 and the convenient explanation that it's an alternate realm altogether provided by the intro cutscene of DaS2.
On the other hand references to 1 and are everywhere and even unavoidable in 3. More or less quick summary: The flame is fading and needes undead with special souls to link it, like the protagonist of DaS1. But as time goes on less and less undead are fit to link the flame and as a desperate measure previous lords of cinders, those who have already given themselves to the flame, are awakened from the dead to act as fuel yet again. They refuse. So instead the Unkindled Ashes, the undead unfit to link the flame, are sendt out to inherit the cinders of the lords so they could link the flame again, somehow. Lothric is in the center of all this as it's the link to of the first flame and graveyard of the Unkindled Ashes.
Hope this somehow helps - if you've got further questions or want to know about something precisely don't be afraid to ask.
So does your DS1 character appear as a boss at any point in the same way Sheogorath in Skyrim is technically the Hero of Kvatch from Oblivion? Because that would be sweet.
No.
actual spoiler guys Spoiler i thought the final boss was supposed to represent the characters who had linked the flame in the past

about to start my 3rd year in university and I work part time as an independent contractor for an accounting firm
Final year?
ha, nope :/
at my current rate I have at least another 1-2 years before I get my undergrad degree
Oh
4 years is standard and 5 is not unusual at all
What are you studying? Ireland has 3/4 years for a Bachelors. 5 years in college is insane to me.
oh I'm in americaland

I don't see how buying shit would even be useful other than lure modules. Pokestop pickups aren't based on level I have 200 pokeballs and why would I feel forced to buy lucky eggs, or incense?
If anything I would want to buy potions/revives/dust

Aldrich defeated. You were right Ty, he was more difficult than I gave him credit for.
fuck that guy Not sure if you caught this but Aldrich is actually the black goop shit and not the dude with the bow. He's in the middle of eating the dude with the bow and is controlling his body in the meantime.

It's like you guys forget you're talking about a 20 year old game
Doesn't mean I'm going to cut it some slack.
the fact that you don't like it makes me like it more
You act like I give a fuck.
