nah Paul has an extremely conservative voting record for fiscal policy (Cruz is up there too) but his ideas about foreign policy, military, domestic/social issues are pretty iberal for an (R)

The only way the Republicans will ever win an election again is if they form some sort of Center-Right coalition. Either cannibalizes the libertarian party or just shift towards center as a whole and back people like Rand Paul. Young people don't want somebody like Cruz or Bush or Pence.
