This is fucking rediculous. 3 months and their already saying fuck you to anybody without the DLC? The "story" they touted is just as shitty as the vilanilla game and takes less than an hour to complete. The strikes are copy pasted. The raid is literally the only new content.
They've made the first raid completely obsolete, you can buy better gear than raid gear at the tower, you can't play the strike plays lists without the DLC, holy shit I feel bad for people who get this pile of garbage for Christmas. I was soooo close to buying this dlc to play with my friends and Based Snake, but fuck bungie

I feel so proud of myself. My very first online battle in ORAS, my team isn't even fully built yet. This random German dude decided to challenge me, outnumbered me, and got completely and utterly shrekt. I didn't even lose a pokemon.

Yeah, Rock Tomb covers most of Breloom's weaknesses. I honestly thought that U-Turn would have been super effective. And that crit Air Slash caught me completely off guard. Arcanine is supposed to be my physical tank.
I love arcanine. I think it's cool that you're using him rather than a more conventional tank. If you want to battle again I have a second team as well. Also does your geninja have perfect speed IV's? Theoretically my noivern should be out speeding most greninja's
Arcanine fits my team better than most of the conventional OU tanks. He covers my Ice weakness and also serves as a good revenge killer with Extremespeed. All the pokemon on my team have flawless 5 and 6IVs. Greninja in particular also has max EVs in speed, but Greninja was my substitute from X version. He's gonna be replaced by Porygon2, which is gonna be used as a hard counter to Greninja, which is my main weakness and can pretty much sweep my entire team.
We can battle again once I'm finished breeding my Porygon, which should be some time later this week.
I didn't bother to IV breed this team, hell a couple of them have bad natures. I kinda just threw it together for fun. And okay just say the word when you want to battle

Starting on Saturday, December 20, at 3:00pm EST, we shall be hosting the first official Floodian Pokemon Championship. The Championship will consist of two tornaments: Tournament 1 will be a more casual tournament consisting of 3DS Link Battles on ORAS. This tournament will take place on Dec 20, at 3:00pm EST. Tournament 2 will be a more hardcore tournament that will take place on Showdown. This tournament will take place on Dec 21, at 3:00pm EST.
Rules:

- No infinite battle
- No accuracy or evasion hax
- Allowance of two non-legendary ubers per team.

I still don't see why every single time there's a new video for this game people compare it to destiny.
I'm thinking the reason why people compare it to Destiny is simply how bad the game ended up being. We have this experienced AAA developer with a huge ass budget that ended up making a shit game. They did a piss poor job on the story, there's not much content to it, the game is very repetitive and there's things that got cut to be sold as DLC.
With this game we have a small indie team that is seeming to put more into this game than what Bungie did with theirs. When you look at the trailers for it for myself they are giving off a vibe that seems like the developers are proud of what they're showing. With those Destiny vidoc videos I seen replies here that are saying Bungie wasn't as exicted talking about Destiny as what they were with Halo 3.
The one thing No Man's Sky has on Destiny are the spaceships. In Destiny they are simply loading screens. In No Man's Sky you are able to take off from a planet and travel to another planet and land. By the looks of it there's space combat as well. With Destiny there is none of that. You would think after Halo Reach having it Destiny would as well, but it didn't.
And we still don't know what exactly the point of this game is. Yeah you can run around and collect resources and upgrade your ship, but why? Just simply exploration. If you play GTA and you mainly drive around fucking around. Picture doing that for a space game.
Yeah the game has multiplayer but they outright stated you'll never be able to even find your friends so just flying around screwing around with them is out the window. No Man's Sky Will Have "Traditional" Multiplayer, But Probably Not at Launch. We don't know what it is but the word "traditional" does give us an understanding what what this might be. It could be something like a PVP or a GTA like free roam thing.
Thanks for that last link! I think that's a true example of a company listening to fans. I remember back at launch they said there wouldn't be a traditional multiplayer

LMAO you tried jumping didn't you? You know, I was wondering when someone was going to accuse me of being the victim of an invasion, or of being gullible enough to give any credence to the hint things.
No, I looked the game up on YouTube before playing and found out about it that way. My first reaction was, "Wow, that's really dumb." Years later, when I finally played the game, I forgot all about that shit until I came across one on the very first room you get to after the tutorial parts. There was a staircase, and a hint thing that read something along the lines of "Go up there, faggot, there's treasure."
And I was like... HMM. THIS IS A LITTLE SUSPICIOUS. DIDN'T I READ ABOUT THIS SOMEWHERE OR SOMETHING? I knew something bad was gonna happen, but I went up the stairs anyway just to humor myself, and lo and behold, a boulder comes careening down, and it knocks me off the staircase, and I land almost in a strategically placed bottomless pit that probably would've killed me had I landed in it.
My reaction was basically, "Yep, worst game ever, 0/10, anyone who likes this is a dumb cunt."
TL;DR
No, I'm less mad that it happened, and more upset that it's a convention of the game at all.
I've never been invaded upon, and I purposely set a trap on myself just to see if people were that evil.
I would never invade another player, and I would never set a misleading hint thing. Ever. I would never, ever do it. And if it's something that the game and the community are going to encourage me to do, expect me to do, how the fuck am I ever gonna have fun playing a game like that.
You actually do have to go up that staircase to progress sooooo... Also that hint is a part of the game. It wasn't left by another player, just like all the other hints on the tutorial. Basically you're butthurt because you fell for a trap in a game full of traps
