Serious / Re: Republicans own the House, Senate, and governorship.
« on: November 09, 2014, 07:53:44 PM »
When no one votes republicans win. In this off year cycle only a third of the eligible voting population showed up to vote. Plus you had a bunch of voter suppression tactics being used in various states.
It's crazy how people cook up various excuses about the voting process because the republicans achieved numerous victories.
But it's true. Keeping the poor and minorities out of the voting booth is to their advantage.
Lol

It's not really a big deal, it's just how our Govt. works.
The worlds most obvious statement.

Honestly man, I like 343i better than Bungie. The games have more depth story wise and I like the art style they brought to it.

I'm not surprised

People just got hyped with the Democrats because Obama is half black. Now that he has only two years and much of his promises he never kept, it's like people waking up from a long night of drinking and thinking "ugh, shouldn't have done that"
Perhaps. His supporters have dwindled, no doubt about that. Granted that's normal with all presidencies. But I can see people are willing to let the republicans handle things, especially locally with the governors.

Thoughts? I think it's funny people are so excited as if this means republicans can now operate without opposition.
Literally no one thinks this.
You're demonstrably incorrect. Plenty of people think that.
Reading a few Internet comments/misunderstanding people doesn't constitute as "plenty of people". To say people think any party can operate without opposition is simply you using hyperbole or just outright lying. The latter being most likely.
You said "literally no one thinks this."

The fact that people think that says otherwise.
K. That's enough time wasted on technicalities.

It's a shame, really.
No shame in the democratic process. It's what people want.
People can be quite easily wrong.
True. But the line between right and wrong is easily blurred when millions of people are in the decision making process.

In video games such as Minecraft, Socialism actually works. In real life, in America, no way could it
Minecraft seems more communist. Well I guess it depends on the server.

I decided to look up the election results (been busy mane)  and was kind of surprised at how red the country has gotten. Im not really surprised by the results of the House however it's surprising to see so many republican governors. Not bad in my opinion. I want to see where this goes. Thoughts?

Exactly. Not really that news worthy.

My stats say 4 hours and something minutes. I've seen people who have legit spent weeks online here though. If someone's life is that mundane and boring, then some reevaluation is in order. But yeah what's your stat?

Hell to the fucking no. Facial hair is disgusting. Sure, it might look great on some people, but it's horrific.
Studies say that women love the stubble. Shame I cant grow it.

You can't empathize with something that doesn't have feelings to being with.

Okay. That's it. I'm done here. Well done Max, well done.
The sad thing is I don't even think he's trolling.

That's interesting. I don't necessarily see it being a big deal in a state like AK though. It's so large and desolate that they've probably been lighting up without much fear of consequences, assuming many have the time to blaze.

My uncle works up there processing fish. He told me it's rather hard to get up there and is really expensive. He also mentioned how the road he lives on is 1.1 miles long and has nine bars.
Does he live in a major city? That's a lot of bars in close proximity.

Nah, it's a small town.
Well dang mane.
