Gaming / Re: So can we get a H5 tournament going?
« on: April 10, 2016, 06:08:10 AM »
I'll play if we do breakout
Why would we play casual gamemodes? Especially in 1v1-2v2 situations.

breakout's fun in a R6 kind of way. More tactical - plus the maps aren't all terrible.

LOL, Breakout will not be in the Tourney unless a vast majority requests it. Because Breakout is for casual gamenights, not a tournament.

Gaming / Official Halo 5 Tournament Thread (Signup here)
« on: April 10, 2016, 02:03:42 AM »
I have decided to repurpose this thread into the official tourney signup thread.

This is a 2v2 tourney with no major prize at the moment, but if Cheat wants maybe a title or something can be a prize for first and second place.  Right now it is set for Sat. the 16th at 4:00PM MST. This will either be 4 or 8 teams depending on the amount of people who sign up. I made a big list of rules but it got lost so here is a shortened version.
Spoiler
-Best 2 out of 3
-Slayer on Truth, Coliseum, and Fathom for round 1. Round 2 will be Eden, Regret, Plaza. Round 3 will be The Rig, Coliseum, and Empire.
-Winner must have proof of each game they play just in case any disputes come up.
-It will be the base slayer gametype with 15 minutes (1 min overtime) and 30 points to keep things a little bit speedy.
-It will be each teams jobs to connect and we will be following GB/TB's no show/cheating rules: http://teambeyond.net/forum/tournaments/details/6-astro-spartans-200-halo-5-1v1/
-Make sure to message me before hand so I can keep track of all games going on (GT: Mr Whiteflame)
-Don't harass people about the tourney before or after
Post for any other questions about the Tourney and rules. I will figure out hosts and brackets beforehand and if people have a rating in Slayer they want to share so I can pair teams up fairly then I am fine with that.

Here is the signup sheet, feel free to message me if it has been a while after posting and your name is still not on there.
Please post your GT and your partners GT. People off Sep7agon can participate:
Spot 1: Mr Whiteflame and undecided (Onyx)
Spot 2: The Smiths01 and ?
Spot 3:
Spot 4:
End of smaller bracket
Spot 5:
Spot 6:
Spot 7:
Spot 8:

Everyone remember to have fun and make some sweet 972 noscopes. I will update with any additional info :).

I am hoping to be in Uganda helping develop a community. I don't really have anything keeping me in America at this point anyway. Just waiting for my Greencard application to finish being processed. WBU faggots?

I have been on this quest for 6 months

This kind of sums up Destiny's endgame problem.
It really doesn't. If you get stuck in Destiny then it isn't the games fault. The problem with endgame is that there is that in the 7-8 months since TTK there is no replay value.

It's not the design of the game to require players to work for months just to get gear, limiting drops and quests on a weekly basis?
It depends on how a player plays. Obviously some people work their hardest to get the best gear but a lockout is understandable in any game, it is that the gear is rng based that is the problem. Either way I was simply saying that the quests are no problem in Destiny. None are based on a weekly basis.

There are several quests that have artificial padding Via Armsday and the weekly reset,
Neither of those are quests?

The class weapons, The spartan laser knockoff and I belive the sword and shotgun too are all quests which have retarded timers.
Again, we are talking quests. And to that point every single loot based game has weapons that take time and have lockoffs at points. It is not like Bungie is doing anything different.

I am at the point where I have so many reqs that I can call anything in and it isn't really a big deal (besides the new stuff). So if I feel like sniping I will call one in but 90% of games I won't even bother calling stuff in.

Noble looks shit with everything else because it doesn't match the art style at all

Still a better MKV than MKV though

Just looked at the trailer again and noticed Jorge and Kat's armors, and they appear to be not butchered
plus Jun's and obviously Emile's. So I guess just poor Carter gets his suit mangled
Noble Chest piece is one of the best looking in the game already and Noble helmet is already pretty damn close to the original.
I've only got the chest piece, looks terrible with any of the other helmets since the chest piece sits so high, it's like you got no neck. It does look fine together at least, I'll admit that.

I suppose these sets are supposed to be worn together, which is the annoying part of the reduced customisation in Halo 5. 'Cos how does it work now that they are classed as a set, weren't Emile and Jorge's armour setups mostly mismatched from multiple sets, but now they are a complete suit.
>Implying Noble Valor and Scout Outrider is not the most bad ass amor combo in the game.

I got AC Unity for 6 dollars which is pretty cool.

Now I am not the biggest fan of rap and I don't listen to a lot of it so I can't say anything about quality but it seems like he has put a lot into it so I just thought I should spread it around and give him some support. So here is me shamelessly plugging a buddies rap!

Lol.
It seriously wasn't that bad of an episode. It was a slower one sure but they did the whole last scene right except for the cliffhanger.

Negan was a cool mofo, yo

I ain't opening no spoilers

I bet it was Glen. That mother fucking baby is a death flag and a half.
I am thinking Daryl cause of the smoking foreshadowing.
Daryl's too fan favorite to die.
Well in that case it can only be Abe Eugene or Ned's Declassified chick. I strongly doubt that they will choose one of them at such a climatic point.
