No, but it seems logical to assume that the guy who makes decisions is likely the biggest reason for why the company has made, like, one new franchise in forever (No, spin offs of spin offs don't count.).
Personally, I couldn't give less of a shit. I don't play Nintendo games because I don't find them remotely interesting, but I don't think it's good a guy died. I just don't care.
