Different reasons. E3 was very much trade Based, talking to people for business. RTX is also sort of business since I will be working with my sister who helps make expos and such in Australia happen. But it is also for fun this time since I will be able to just hang out for a lot of it. Hopefully less meetings and more parties. That way I have more stuff I can talk about. What connections did you have to Game Development again?
I am myself a developer. I mainly have been working on UX. I have mostly been doing a lot of stuff to make moves to become a larger player in the industry. Nothing confirmed for actual stable jobs, mostly freelance work and doing work for two friends company's, one doing lighting and electronics, and one doing work for software development. But on my LinkedIn I have people from Bungie, Capcom, MS looking at me after E3. A large part of being "in the games industry" is just acting like you are. It's what separates fans from developers. Like I did with E3 I will be temporarily back for a thread to hang and chat with you guys about the event I am going to. Just making the thread now for early questions and just so when it comes along I have a thread ready at the time so I spend less time working on the thread and more talking to everyone. I will still be going along with the idea of only positivity for a response from me, just to keep a positive atmosphere all around. Feel free to be negative just know I won't be involved  . The only stuff that is limited really is the conferences, which can be watched via stream anyways.
Booths and all that are always open.
Ah. Cool to know. I can understand having the "behind closed doors" stuff limited to people in the industry. Obviously. Don't see why not everyone can't watch the conferences on-site though.
With how many people watch E3 if they left those open that would be chaos.
Might as well just let the people who will advertise the most in.

Finished up day 3 and holy shit that was an amazing expo. Best experience of my life. Met so many great and nice people, got a lot of connections made with people in the industry and had a great time playing the games. Was able to play Zelda and oh my god guys it is everything I could want. The trailers undersell it. It is truly an experience. It is also fucking gigantic. The 200$ dollar swag was also a nice add on! It was very pretty the booth was amazing. I have pictures on my snapchat if you wanna see what it looked like. Only flaw I saw was some frame drops. I also played Halo Wars 2. Before I talk about it I must say I am not a PC user. And so playing it on PC was difficult for me and I did not enjoy how it played. But I enjoy the controller, even for an rts. Also playing the game at E3, it felt a lot more like Halo Wars than what I thought when I played the beta. I hated the Beta, but the E3 build looked pretty ok.
