The Flood / Re: There was an iguana in the backyard.
« on: April 03, 2015, 12:47:14 PM »

If you're in Florida, that's common down south. Dumb ass pet owners freed a good number of them long ago.
yeah, my friend was telling me that it's possible this could be a 2nd or 3rd generation of released iguanas. Which is pretty awesome to hear. It sounds like they're doing okay out here.
They're a bit invasive. Iguanas and boa constrictors both fuck up some of the wildlife around the Keys and Everglades.
ive heard of released snakes being invasive but how are iguanas a problem?
They destroy a good amount of vegetation.
really? There's that many of them that it causes a noticeable amount of missing vegetation?
It's a bit of an infestation in some areas, yes.
wow. How do the authorities address the problem? Do they release them in different regions?

would it hurt if you stepped on it barefoot
good question. Are the spines soft like cartilage or are they hard. I mean id poke it to find out but there's no way I'd step on it. That would hurt him. /:
I can tell you from experience that they are softish and actually break off
what did you do, pull it off? /:
Nah. I had a Chinese Water Dragon and over the course of his life his spines occasionally popped off from running around and shit or if the dead skin from shedding didn't fully come off of the spines. I tried to help him with the latter tho so it wouldn't happen
ahhhh okay. What was it like having a water dragon?

What a handsome creature.
i know right? I'm so glad I had my Canada charged and ready. My iPod takes clear pics but there's no zoom on it so those close ups wouldn't have been possible. It was something to just watch him eating the grass and nibbling it.

You should tell her that she's not 8 years old and that Walt Disney and his romantic propaganda is a misrepresentation of what love and romance truely is.
Sorry I'm so useless.

It's Friday night for you? It's Friday morning here though. I thought the days always started in America! Communist bastards.
Hour and a half til Saturday now.
tell me what the futures like my frand.
It's a lot like Australia
the wild life is going to kill us all! There's no hope!
I'd be more worried about your wildlife.
mauled by a bear would be a horrific way to go.

Kill yourself

Here, I'll save you the trouble of snitching.
snitching about what? It looks like I'm being told to kill myself on the daily. I'm used to it. Also was my post traumatizing?
More to do with the serious board having a certain standard of posts and a two word 'kill yourself' doesn't really meet said standard.

So the thing I would like to point out is that the one 'getting mad at college students' wasn't actually getting mad at college students, if you read the full essay he wrote instead of some conservative rag's manipulated story you'd have seen that.

The other thing I'd point out is that this mister marine in question wasn't injured in a helicopter crash, but was recounting the tale of his friend who was.
sounds like op could have picked a less biased article.
Indeed he could and I wish he'd chosen the article that Turkey linked in his post because it's a much better read than the shite in the OP lol
But then OP couldn't shit on anyone who disagreed and call them liberal idiots!
so what your saying is OP is being a fag?

Gaming / Re: Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin

I want to play it just because. Is there any continuity with the first game?
You fight Ornstein again and you can find Havel's armor. Also in NG+ you get the 4 Lord Souls from DS1.
but does it continue from where the first game ended or is it a new story?
It's hundreds of years later. An entire civilization rose and fell between the games.
meh. I'll still play it just so I can say I have.

The only good Rebel is a dead Rebel
IMPERIAL BASTARDS!

You read that in the skyrim woman's voice. It's still relevant.
I support The Empire in any fictional universe
you are an imperial bastard, you will always will be an imperial bastard and only the imperial bastards will mourn you.
