As if some people even have control over how big or small they are. <_<
As if I have control over what I find attractive?
Thigh gaps just look nasty. They make a woman look fragile and unhealthy.
Fair enough. You don't really need to sound like a heartless jerk about it though. If I could choose where I gain wait, I would in a heart beat. ):

Thigh gaps.
fracking disgusting.
What the frack is wrong with you people?
I'm sorry for not wanting to frack a skeleton freak
ouch... As if some people even have control over how big or small they are. <_< OT: idk if I have a deal breaker. As long as they aren't like anything disgusting, like a murderer, rapist, pedo. I might not believe or agreed with all the persons views or opinions but opinions and beliefs are just that. They change. No reason to let them dictate who I can or can't love.

Does chopping off a foot and a half of hair count?
Fir a second there I thought you said you chopped off your foot.
This is why we use the metric system people.
frack that. Metric is the gateway to communism.

Someone sneezed really hard.
what if god sneezed and that became the first cause? I mean when I dad sneezes it's sounds like a grenade went off. Imagine a god like sneeze?

halo wars, not halo. Nice excuse btw. I guess you ride a horse over to your family members houses?
Never been hiking? I have two locations and keep my Jeep at my secondary. I also came back to sell some of my crops and made a good chunk of change.
if you buy gas for your jeep, doesn't that mean you're not living off the grid?

3) doesn't matter. You can raise as much awareness for suicide as you want. The dead really dont care.
Awareness and help isn't for the dead.
so? You think you're going raise an emotionally and spiritually dead person from the metaphorical grave? Some people have already attempted it and failed. What would stop them from trying again the next time things are just as bad?
Proper support and psychiatric level help.
i don't believe you can help someone if they don't want help. If the person is well enough to seek help then I'm not entirely sure if they really were at risk of going through with their suicide threats.
Your posts reek of misinformation and lack of education on the topic.
mhmmm anything else? Not sure if you're going to actually discuss/explain anything or try to put me down for not knowing as much as you.
Considering how the rest of this thread has gone, it's generally advised that if you don't know what you're talking about, don't make such grand statements.
why? I'm more than welcome to people correcting me or telling when I'm wrong. There's no need to be an ass about it. I've seen other people ITT thread say that awareness and help doesn't seem to be making much of an impact either which is what I said. I'm sorry if I they sounded more scientific when they said it and I didn't.
It's not about how you say it, it's about what you said. The awareness, treatment, accessibility, cost, etc, are barriers that prevent people from getting the help they need. "If they want to kill themselves, they're going to kill themselves" shouldn't be an accepted outcome. We should be trying to avoid that outcome.
If people want to kill themselves they won't seek help though. Depressed people will and I can see how that fits in with what you just said, but if you made up your mind right now to kill yourself this Friday, why would you seek help?
That just isn't how it works. "Hmm, yes. I believe Friday will be an excellent day to take my life, doesn't mess with my schedule."
If help were readily available more people would go. As it stands now it's a hassle and expensive. Would a psychiatrist help really? I don't know. It depends on the individual.
You don't think thats how it works and yet people plan out their deaths. They make YouTube videos, or find out how they are going to do it. It's definitely not a spontaneous decision.
Those people are the minority. Majority of people think about doing it and end up doing it because their life doesn't improve/gets worse or all sorts of other things. That's where family and friends come in.
well they become the said "minority" like you just said in that case. So I don't really think it's a minority.

You do realize that a huge amount of porn just involves the one person and nobody else. Anyway the real Camnator apparently doesn't even want sex. He'd rather eat Nutella off booty and pretend to be a dog. Filthy inbred fuсk. I think you're an alt account.

The real Camnator is off the grid or was in the process of going off the grid. He also doesn't make spelling mistakes. And the lack of halo wars in your posts is a dead giveaway.
I'm visiting family until February, I am still off the grid. This keyboard I'm using is jacked up. I've post Halo, booty and cannabis frequently.
halo wars, not halo. Nice excuse btw. I guess you ride a horse over to your family members houses?

If people want to kill themselves they won't seek help though.
Not always true.
But, this is why suicide prevention focuses on identifying others at risk and encouraging them to get the proper help if you cannot provide it yourself. The idea isn't to sit you through a class telling you to not kill yourself, it's to help you help that guy to your left to not kill himself.
but what incentive is there for someone to even attend one of those classes if they've already made up their mind. I can totally see this working on someone who's slowly approaching that decision of ending their live but I don't understand why someone who's made up their mind, would attend.
The... audience of what I'm referencing most likely wouldn't include anyone who'd suicidal themselves. You're partly correct how most folk won't want to or maybe won't be able to get help on their own, so that's why family/friend involvement and intervention is important. Thing is, if you don't know anything about the subject, how can you know what's wrong?
also, I just wanted to add. I don't think it's uncommon that suicidal people might not even have family or other close people that are active in their lives. So again, how who's going to know you need help?

If people want to kill themselves they won't seek help though. Which is why we need to make it easier [both logistically and financially] and less stigmatic to seek help. Friends and family should acquaint themselves with someone who exhibits depressive behavior.
so basically catching it early is when these programs are most effective.
As is with any disease, disorder, or unwanted behavior.
i guess it's trying to pick out who's depressed in that case since depression isn't usually visible or it's very subtle. Also I think max was right with saying that it's got a bit if a stigma with going to one of those classes. I'd hate to go and have people talk behind my back about how I'm about to kill myself. I see what you guys are saying now though.
