Sexualizing children is the hall mark of Japanese society and culture.

In Japan, Innocence and Purity are both highly valued, so to deflower a child who is the physical embodiment of both these traits, one knows that they have obtained the ultimate prize.

Truly they are a culture far above our own.

Lala
Lala's my number two. Lolo is too much of a tsundere whose attitude is controlled by his nipples, so he's number three for me.

It means that you're literally no different than anybody else, and that you shouldn't want anything bad to happen to anyone else. Because bad things are bad, regardless of who it happens to occur to. Whether my arm is chopped off, or some random guy I don't know gets his arm chopped off, it doesn't matter. It's the same scenario, and I can recognize that both instances have precisely the same moral urgency.
There is a difference between wanting negative actions to occur to others and being apathetic to them occurring. If I had the capacity to stop another person's arm from being chopped off without risk to my own life, I'd have no reason not to. If it did risk my life however, I'd argue that it'd be more a fight or flight reaction rather than an thought out judgment. However, on the converse side, I have no reason to care about a random person I never met about losing his arm. It sucks, but doesn't affect me.

Suffering sucks, every person can agree there, but it doesn't mean I have to care about others' suffering. As long as I am not the instigator to the suffering occurring, it should matter.

The entire basis of a relaitonship (friend, family, significant partner) is that it is mutually beneficial to both parties, I derive pleasure from my relationship with them, and they me. To try to hide the fact that relationships is a symbiotic partnership where one party relies on the other and vice versa is just silly. It causes them to suffer to not assist me, just like it would cause me to suffer to not assist them. So, yes, self interest is present in all relationships, I just have the balls to verbalize it.

That just makes me wish that everyone close to you dies. And then proceed to tell me nothing matters.
The fact that you would wish suffering not just on myself, but people close to me, to prove a point to me seems hypocritical. If you want to prevent the suffering of others, you shouldn't want other to suffer just to point out how much a selfish asshole one who cares about the intrinsic self is.

Quote
That's what I think a nihilist deserves--the absolute worst suffering imaginable. If you think nothing matters but your own sensations, you deserve the absolute worst that life has to offer, and perhaps more. That's what you should get for not acknowledging the suffering of other people, outside of your own impossibly selfish outlook. Pure hell.
Hey Verb, just a heads up, but that's how literally most people think. You think all those religious people doing good deeds do it purely out of the goodness of their heart, or do you think they do it to try to score some brownie points with God?

Quote
The human race doesn't just stop suffering when you die. This should mean something to you.
In yet, you have never given me a reason beyond you should. Just because I can feel pain when a knife cuts me, it doesn't mean that I should worry about others feeling that sensation. It means that I should attempt to deter that negative sensation from occurring to myself.

And say nihilism is shit, at least we acknowledge that life is meaningless rather than trying to take solace in the fact that it is.
Life would be meaningless if suffering wasn't such a prevalent factor, but it is. Therefore, one's efforts to mitigate suffering for himself or (more importantly) others have meaning.

There is no use in prolonging suffering just because you go choose to look beyond the asymptotic nature of life. Because that, in itself, is meaningless and contributes no valuable statement to anything or anybody.

Yes, nihilism is the shittiest philosophy ever.
Life is meaningless without conscious to make sense of the events occurring. Any action a person does is for the experience. Without conscious to hold the information of the experiences, those actions are meaningless. With an finite life and no afterlife present, recalling information is limited, and therefore meaningless. Sorry, Verb, but as I've said before, the only suffering I care about  is the suffering of the self, and by proxy the suffering of those close to me because that affects my own suffering.

Knowing that everything you do, everything you learn, every action that occurred in your life is gone
You're never truly gone until your legacy is forgotten.
Unless you're someone like MLK or Hitler, the farthest we'll be remembered is great grandkids.

Knowing that everything you do, everything you learn, every action that occurred in your life is gone is not comforting.
That's extremely comforting.

No pain, no hatred, no suffering, no people, no stupidity, no bullshit, no murder, no theft, no drugs, no anything.

Absolute perfection.
And say nihilism is shit, at least we acknowledge that life is meaningless rather than trying to take solace in the fact that it is.

You cease to exist.
You're dead. Gone.

It's a comforting thought.
Knowing that everything you do, everything you learn, every action that occurred in your life is gone is not comforting. All it does it points out the fact that life is meaningless and there is honestly no difference between offing yourself this very moment or dying at 80.

i really dislike how people use variations of this gif to undermine the fight and "flashiness" of the fight. like....a second later the sword come in and collide and they lock up.
I personally wasn't trying to undermine anything actually, I just used it as an excuse to post the gif. I never really had a problem with the prequels actually.
