All boys should be girls and all girls should be girls.
Do you mean all boys should look and dress like girls or they should be girls physically, because the former would be great.

Serious / Re: Praise Britannica - circumcision ruling
« on: April 21, 2016, 01:52:38 PM »
Honestly, I would have thought you'd be against circumcision since it exposes children to extreme pain just a week after they're born. Also, the health issues are negligible if you live in a first world country. Literally, you'll have no problems if you just wash the area when you shower.
Pain that they won't remember--no more than they'll remember having their skull squeezed through the birth canal, causing them plagiocephaly for five months. If you're willing to forcefully schlep a child into the world in the first place, circumcision is going to be the least of that newborn's problems. Especially when you consider that it does have its benefits.
I'll have to see if I can find it, but I remember reading a few articles that found that the pain the circumcision causes can have an subconscious effect on the person later on. I'm on mobile right now, so I'll look into it when I get on my laptop.
Ah, here's the post of Daz's with all the data I was thinking of.

Well considering they can cause problems (even at a very low rate) and the people in question were already prescient enough to address the issue at hand by getting an abortion, I definitely think it shouldn't be forced on them. Never hurts to inform people though in case it might save some effort the next time around.
I was thinking more along the lines of a free opt-in to have the IUD put in after the abortion. While it's heavily idealistic, there is a higher birth rate among people of a lower socioeconomic bracket and these people tend to have children younger as well, leading to children born into an environment where they won't thrive. Adding in the option for getting an IUD placed in after an abortion makes sure that people who don't understand proper contraceptive protection or don't have the proper financial stability won't have the same action occurring.
There's probably a small rate exceptional to this, but wouldn't the fact that the people in question are getting abortions suggest that they aren't the ones to have children too early? Again, I don't disagree that giving them the option would be taking anything away from them at least!
Yeah, the caveat of it all is that to my knowledge it's generally the people of higher socioeconomic bracket that tend to get the abortions when they feel like they aren't secure enough to raise a child, which may in part be due to religious and family values affecting the lower socioeconomic bracket's choice, though they do have them as well. If I recall correctly, abortion rates have increased more among the poor but has decreased overall, which in turn most likely has to do with knowledge and access of contraceptives.

Me and a couple of other people were talking and the conversation shifted into talking about how Cuban doctors tend to put in IUDs after an abortion due to the populace's ignorance on contraceptives. On that same note, do you think a similar practice could be applicable in other places, of course with consent from the patient unlike in Cuba.

No
Well, the two nots cancel each other out and 3D women are unimportant, so it would be yes.
