The Flood / Gods...
« on: March 08, 2015, 10:39:03 PM »
"Are the gods really that powerful? Do the gods believe us to be that insignificant? Even though we humans try to live with all of our strength. What are gods then, who don't protect those who try to live? To understand humans and to help them with their errors, is that not what a god is? What is a god if it is not capable of loving people? A god like that is not necessary." - Pegasus Seiya

The Flood / The Justice League of Sep7agon
« on: March 07, 2015, 11:31:00 PM »
ITT I'm going to compare some users from Sep7 with the members of the Justice League beginning with the most iconic of them all...

Superman - Jive Turkey

Both are big, cool and overall have a really nice personality. Seeing as how they really like to be around other cool people (come on, he's here with us right?) there is no other way to deny it, Jive Turkey is our Man of Steel. Also Jive has a weakness to rocks, just saying.

Green Lantern - TBlocks

Well, this incarnation of Hal Jordan, like the others has great power, but like TBlocks well he doesn't use to its fullest and often times comes up short. His sense of humor both infuriates and entertains others at the same time and is overall a good person even if he can get on some people's bad side. Overall a really good guy once you get to know him.

Batman - Verbatim

One has to get past the exterior and try to understand a person's personality and beliefs. That's how Batman and Verbatim are often criticized and sometimes not understood by their peers. But below all of that dark and gloomy exterior there is a really nice person underneath that is most of the time overlooked.

The Flash - Rocketman

The Flash, Barry Allen, is a smart and quiet fellow. Not really that vocal as his pal Hal Jordan but he says his part and is sometimes stoic. But when he wants to be funny he is but he's sense of humor is a bit lacking. There were have Rocketman, quiet and friendly but lacks some humor and his humor often is misunderstood and taken as an insult or something. But no, Rocketman doesn't run fast.

Wonder Woman - Me

Ice cream is wonderful!

Aquaman - BC

A king, son of two worlds. Aquaman is sometimes looked down upon as a weak superhero and useless. But he actually isn't, he is immensely powerful and would give Superman a run for his money. BC, as of recent events, is looked down upon much like Aquaman by some dark parties. But he is actually the opposite and is a real nice guy to talk to and stuff. Also, both are kings in their own rights.

Shazam - Naru

A man with the mind of a kid. Need I say more?

Cyborg - Cheat

Immensely talented with the computer stuff, Cyborg and Cheat are both computer smarties! Also they are both black. lol

Serious / What If
« on: February 15, 2015, 02:58:24 PM »
What if, suddenly, we all found out that the mythological gods existed. Like one day CNN or any other news network report of Hercules walking around Washington DC, or maybe even Vishnu making an appearance in India. Odin and Zeus making speeches in the UN and stuff, Thor raining down purified water over Africa, Apollo riding on top of his chariot bringing morning and night every day.

In a personal level, would you change your views on the concepts of divinity and gods? Would you acknowledge their existence as actual divine beings? If you have no religion and are an atheist, would you not called them gods and if you are religious would you call them gods?

On a worldwide level, what do you think our modern day nations would do?

The Flood / So...muslims
« on: February 01, 2015, 06:33:21 PM »
No, this is not a hate thread to a religion. Its more of a question.

A really long time ago, Muslims had this little empire...actually huge empire. It was massive, bigger than Alexander's Empire and the Roman Empire. It was one of the greatest empires in human history for their innovations in SCIENCE, MATH, ASTRONOMY, COMMERCE AND ECONOMY, ART, and a lot of more awesome shit. They were really open minded too, they accepted and allowed anyone to practice or not practice any religion they wanted.

So here's the question, how did a people influenced by this religion, Islam, get downgraded so much into mindless religious fanatics that would kill you just because you pulled a funny?

The Flood / RP Thread Story
« on: January 10, 2015, 11:57:27 PM »
This thread will deliver an RP story, meaning you can choose your character and play within a loose story that changes with every action your character plays. It also starts with how your characters starts as well after the story's start. You can submit character entries before the main story begins. Imagine it as an RPG game. The setting will be on 21st Century Earth but will have Halo-like futuristic weapons and can be home for any character as long as it doesn't break the following rules:

- No omnipotents
- No joke characters
- Cannot control 2 characters at once
- Game Masters' rule is final

There are 10 available slots for applicants. Non-serious character applications will not be considered and will be ignored at the Game Master's discretion (Characters controlled by the Game Masters are not going to be counted in the slots.)

1. Icywind (Aidan Thompson)
2. SecondClass (Hampton Keller)
3. Espira (Epsira Eridani)
4. Nexus (Peter Jason Quill aka Star-Lord)
5. Ingloriouswho98 (Ingy)
6. Blazed Iron (Deacon Conley)
7. Yutaka (Leone Armanta)
8. Risay117 (Grey)
9. InstaCode (Amanda Ripley)
10.

Game Masters: TBlocks (Chris Redfield), Rocketman (Rtas Vadum), Me

Beginning Event: The Covenant discovers Earth and attempt to make peace with the planet. The story follows then by how the intervention goes and what happens afterwards.

The character applications will be like this, I will use mine as example:

Character Name: Jill Valentine

Alignment: Good

Partner (optional): Chris Redfield (TBlocks)

Bio: As part of the BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance) international agency, Jill is an expert in weapons, explosives and hand-to-hand combat. She has been fighting bio-terrorists and international criminals for years. Prior to this, she was a member of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team, Position RS (Rear Security). Before joining the S.T.A.R.S., she was part of the U.S. Army's Delta Force training program, where she earned extremely high grades in bomb disposal. She was recruited into S.T.A.R.S. for her already well-developed fighting skills. In July 1998, she became one of the few surviving S.T.A.R.S. members of the infamous Mansion incident and, two months later, the Raccoon City Destruction Incident. She is the long time partner and close friend of Chris Redfield, and as a result of their partnership, the two are extremely close.
