Both Call of Duty and Halo right now are becoming similar and similar each year. There is almost no contest. They're sharing the same mechanics.
It may not be noticeable right now but I assure you in the future you'll know that I was right all along.
Who's taking about gameplay mechanics? A Spartan can't be compared to a not-so advanced advanced normal soldier. And so what if a Spartan can do all those things? They have super-advanced power armors, they should be able to do all of those things and then some.
Well it's working because you fools are buying into it. Developers these days don't even try anymore. Just take what's already out there and rehash it and you make more money than an original idea.
People don't vote with their wallets anymore.
Sigh. I don't even have a console, I'm looking at this from a purely lore-centric point of view which makes absolute sense.

The lore died for me after Reach came out. Nothing makes sense anymore. Next thing you know the new feature in Halo 5 is killing enemies using your own piss.
Reach never happened. We just ignore it and move on.

I'm still disappointed Shao Jun won't be getting her own full entry, but the AC Chronicles look like nice little side games though.
Love the art style too.
I was happy to see that Nikolai Orelov and Arbaaz Mir will get a Chronicles game too.
Definitely would of bought in this year had this been the AAA.
They missed a lot of potential not doing a full AC game in China.
