Ukraine withdraws from Italy and forms the first united front with troops in Poland. Biplanes with canisters of DpM lag behind the retreating army and barrage any pursuing enemy forces with the agent. Troops in Ukraine and eastern Balkan countries form the second united front.
Spoiler  First (red): 58,000 Second (blue) 37,000 Biplanes retreat from their attacks, along with the German bombers. The Imperial/German forces arrive towards the former warzone and treat to the wounded, of both sides. The Imperial/Ukrainian DMZ is created in the Italian border. The Emperium asks for a cease fire.

The nerve gas fall on top of the heavily defended border, many soldiers fall even with protection on. But most heard the bell and hid within their bunkers, the air outside was lethal, their old WWI machine guns are placed in the bunker openings ready to strike but.
Imperial biplanes make a u-turn and fly over the incoming Ukrainian onslaught and fire at the infantry coming in. The tanks that were still unaffected continue their march towards the border, and about 10,000 soldiers posted in France enter Italy, rejoining with the Italian defense force.
30,000 men of the German army converge from the North to join the defense of Italy. Command has been given to the Italian commander.
30,000 highly trained German soldiers join with the 10,000 French soldiers at the Italian northern border, ready to enter Italy. Roman defenders are bombarded, but keep defending their hopeless stand. Tanks move into secure the border firing their cannons at enemy tanks. German bombers join the Italian squadrons and rain hell over the incoming Ukrainian troops. Fighters protect the bombers. The highly powerful Panzer tanks enter faster into the border and aid the Italian tank squadrons.

The soldiers in Ukraine counterattack. 200 more biplanes from Hungary move toward Ukraine's western border.
Ukraine warns Germany that any further actions will be met with a declaration of war.
Germany counters with the unnecessary aggression towards it's allies.
Why attack Italy when Ukraine was the aggressor.
The Imperial War Machine is kicked into high gear, more men enlist into the Imperial Army to make up from the loss in the Balkan Campaign. Tanks and biplanes begin to be constructed, the entire Emperium goes into high alert. Soldiers from the retired Spanish, French and Slovenian armies are conscripted into the once Italian-only Imperial Army.
It was attack or be attacked.
The planes arrive on Italy's eastern border and begin dropping the nerve agent over Italian cities.
The 30,000 UGC troops advance through the already-gassed Slovenia, picking off anyone who survived the nerve agent.
The troops arrive on Italy's border and begin to combat the Italian tanks and troops. Tanks arrive in Slovenia and move west to support the ground forces.
The planes in Italy stop their flight to Rome and double back to the Italian border to drop more nerve gas on the Italian troops.

The evacuation of key Italian cities is underway with only the military moving in, soldiers begin constructing bunkers and trenches across the border. Fearing another nerve gas attack, many wear hastily made masks to counter the effects. Tanks pour into the border, hoping to halt the Ukrainian advance until reinforcements from the northern Empire arrive.

Roman citizens are caught off-guard by the sudden brutality of Ukraine's coward act of war. The remaining soldiers across the Empire move back towards the motherland. Over 20,000 soldiers and thousands of planes return, and enter the former Slovenian border, planes enter and begin mowing down enemy targets.
The Empress calls for a reason for this sudden attack which has had no purpose for the Empire had backed off from Croatia.

Previously on UN Game XI
100 DpM canisters finish production. Ukraine sends a team of 200 biplanes and 400 airmen with these canisters to rendezvous with the Bulgarian annexation force.
The biplanes meet up with the 4,000 ground units stationed outside Bulgaria. After a strategic discussion, the biplanes fly over Bulgaria to Turkey, gradually releasing all 100 canisters of DpM over the Bulgarian nation. The soldiers wait a day before entering the zone. They find hundreds of thousands of burned human carcasses and many more seizing civilians and soldiers on the brink of death. The chemical indiscriminately killed, and Ukraine is able to enter Bulgaria with practically no more organized opposition.
The nerve agent's destructive force allows Ukraine to practically take Bulgaria without any conflict, but the province's population has been wiped out by nearly 60%. General Koshla orders the country to be pillaged.
1,000 canisters of DpM finish production, now the nation has a total of 1,500. Ukraine begins construction of a nerve agent containment/dispersement facility in western Hungary. Expected to be complete by page 17.
Nerve agent silo completed. All DpM reserves are moved to the facility.
400 biplanes and 800 airmen are sent to Hungary.
20,000 soldiers are sent to Hungary (rerouted from Turkey and Ukraine).
Soldiers and planes arrive in Hungary.
The planes, loaded with 750 canisters of DpM, fly south from Hungary. They gradually release the nerve agent as they fly over Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, and Macedonia. They land on Greece's northern border. The 20,000 soldiers in Hungary wait a day before moving south into the Balkan countries.
Ah, so you just sent nerve agents to my soldiers in Croatia. Good job.
