A New Hope > Empire Strikes Back > Return of the Jedi > Revenge of the Sith > The Phantom Menace > Attack of the Clones
My favorite is A New Hope because despite all the production problems they still managed to make a great movie that still doesn't show its age. A nice simple adventure movie, boy meets girl and friends, defeats bad guys, gets a nice medal.
I think everything that I could say about Empire has already been said. Still love it though.
Jedi was good, just had a few flaws like Jabba being boring and the Ewoks.
Sith wasn't terrible, it had some good scenes. The Lightsaber fights that WEREN'T Obi Wan vs Anakin were fucking terrible though. Ian Mcdiarmid looked like he was doing a slapstick routine with it, and the Jedi sent to arrest him were awful.
Phantom Menace isn't great but it's still watchable. Doesn't bother me that much. Has a nice fight at the end.
Attack of the Clones was terrible, I even hated it as a kid.
There's a reason people prefer the originals. It's not just because it's the cool thing to do, it's because they are generally accepted as being the better made movies.

Jar Jar was not funny. He was cringeworthy. If I'm watching a move alone, and I see a mildly amusing scene of Jar Jar eating food like a frog eats a fly, and I don't laugh, that doesn't make me a robot. Most people don't laugh at funny scenes in movies if they're alone--we're much more prone to laughter if we are with company.
Besides, what was cringeworthy about him? Like, nothing.
Like everything he did. I couldn't take Episode 1 seriously at all. Good on Lucas for getting rid of him by Episode 3 as a protagonist.
