On a slightly different note, I've had sleep paralysis maybe twice in my entire life, and I'm not sure I've ever been more fucking terrified.

That happened to me while I woke up. It was terrifying. Am I wrong? Is that what you're not talking about?
I once had sleep paralysis back in high school in my home room. The peeps around were talking all normal, and the teacher was just speaking with everyone else while I slept with my face buried into my arms. The teacher let us catch some shut eye while we were there.
I woke up but couldn't open my eyes, move my mouth or move anything. But I could hear everyone else around me.
Fucking terrifying.
That's what I exactly felt in my own bed and no one was even home, except my eye lids were open and I couldn't even blink.
I couldn't even scream but inside in my mind I was screaming and was constantly thinking "Come on MOVE MOVE!!!!"
For me it was scary because I could hear everyone around me just have a normal time while I was there thinking I was going to die or never move ever again. Thank god it only lasted for less than a minute.
