"Mortis?" Bastila asked, she and Obi-Wan felt the immense power coming from the being before them. He glowed in the most radiant light. "But...this is a space station...right?"
"Mortis is an ethereal realm constructed by the Force." The being said. "You may call me Father."
"How about I don't?" Obi-Wan responded with wit. Father laughed,
"I have summoned you, Jedis, to aid me in something of the utmost importance for the continued existence of not only the universe but also the Force." Father said. "My Son and Daughter have been fighting since the dawn of time. We represent the Force...My Son represents the chaos and darkness, and my Daughter represents the order and light of it. I am the balance. But it seems that the fighting is getting out of my control, and I am afraid that I do not possess the same level of power as I once did before."
"The dark side...and the light." Bastila said.
"Quite the mission you have given us." Obi-Wan said as well.
"It was quite fortunate that you two were both together when I contacted young Bastila. Knight Obi-Wan, I will need you to speak with my Daughter, and make her reason. Bastila, I need you to convince my Son to see the necessity of balance." Father said.
"I'll see what I can do." Bastila said.

Bastila's vessels exists hyperspace, "Whoa." Bastila says as she and her Jedi Knight companion, Obi-Wan, come up before an immense floating rhombohedron made out of metal.
"What is this place?" Obi-Wan asked.
"We must be deep in the Unknown Regions." Bastila said, then she saw a landing pad nearby and piloted her shuttle towards it. Once she did, the landing pad moved inwards the structure. The gigantic hangar-like gate closed. Bastila and Obi-Wan exited the shuttle and walked towards the exit to see who were the people who contacted Bastila through the Force.
It was rather quiet, too quiet for Obi-Wan's liking. Passing through the doors they came up to an immense open field, with a bright blue sky and green trees. "Okay..where are we?" Obi-Wan asked again.
"You are in Mortis." A tall old man said as he approached them.

While awaiting orders at Bakura, Bastila gets visions and shouts of help through the Force. Someone was calling to her through the Force, this had never happened before. The voice asked her to come to Wild Space, beyond the Bakura's borders. She didn't know why, but Bastila knew where to exactly go in the uncharted reaches of Wild Space. With her was famous Jedi Knight, Obi-Wan Kenobi, who the Council had paired up with her so she can stay true to the Force.
"Where are we going?" Obi-Wan asked.
"I don't know..." Bastila responded as she led the ship into Wild Space.

Chancellor Abin sends out three frigates to Republic controlled space, in search of force-sensitive children for the Jedi Order.
Twenty children have been deemed as force-sensitive, and are now enroute to Coruscant. Due to the Sith blockade of the Inner Core, the Chancellor feels they are safer under the direct protection of Master Fisto.

Now safely back on Endor, Bastila reports to the Council. She tells them about her chat with the Force ghost of Darth Bane and her confrontation with Darth Revan and Darth Sicarius. They agree that the knowledge of Sith battle tactics and fighting styles is good, it would be useless unless the Jedi are prepare. The Order begins to militarize itself so they can stand a chance in battling the Sith.

The Jedi Council began to talk about Bastila's allegiance, Grand Master Zym had detected a bit of darkness within her. Surely this was because of her being surrounded by the dark side for too long. Still, they trust her enough to keep her under no supervision, for now.

Footsteps are heard behind Bastila entering the Temple.
"I heard that man speak to you. He speaks lies of me you know? If I wanted it, you would have been nothing but ash on Bespin. Do not underestimate the power of the Dark Side. Never underestimate the dominion I have over The Force!" Revan's voice boomed through the echoey chambers of the Temple. Darth Revan and Darth Sicarius had arrived.
"You will never have the upper hand. You shall be consumed by darkness in this place... and I. I will rule the galaxy!"
Revan mocked the Jedi relentlessly. He and Sicarius activated their lightsabers.
The phantasm of Bane disappeared.
Bastila ignited the other side of her double-sided yellow lightsaber. She moved backwards until she was close to the tomb as Darth Sicarius approached her. He attacked the young Jedi Knight, their sabers clashing in a bright light. Sicarius smiled wickedly as he began to overpower Bastila's defense with his superior strength, she saw the amber hateful eyes of Sicarius looking down at her. She couldn't let this twisted man beat her, Bastila used the Force to telepathically rip part of the stone wall and throw it at him. The rock merely distracted the Dark Lord's apprentice as she rolled out of the way.
There was no escape, except going deeper into the crypt. The obscure tunnel full of power of the dark side, full of evil energies...but it was better than getting killed. While she contemplated her options Bastila felt an invisible grip tighten around her right arm. She was pulled into the wall, it was Revan himself keeping her from moving. "Gah!" She gasped.
Sicarius looked at his master, "I had her!" He shouted in frustration. Revan ignored him and walked towards the Jedi. He pointed his red saber towards her head...Bastila had to act fast or she would done for. Feeling none pressure on her legs, she used the Force to strongly kick Revan away. The impact was hard enough to rip the Mandalorian mask he had on off his face. She ran into the dark tunnel behind Darth Bane's tomb. Sicarius roared in anger and followed as Revan picked up his mask.
Sicarius stormed into the darkness his saber raised searching for the Jedi that had previously eluded him. Anger and hate flowed through the young Sith as he slashed his way ahead. Even through the intense emotion he could make out voices encouraging him to use the hate and anger. Telling him to destroy not just the Jedi in his path, but all the enemies of the Sith Empire. He had the power to do so. He knew he did.
Revan picked up his fallen, broken mask. Removing the rest of the mangled helmet was an easy task. The girl ripped the thing to shreds with one kick. She was powerful indeed, but he knew which of them was stronger. Throwing the metal away he began down the dark tunnel knowing his young apprentice would have a difficult battle if he managed to find the escaped Jedi. He questioned why the girl would be here in this place of darkness. He threw away these thoughts and focused on his anger. Knowing the dark side would be his protector as long as he followed it.
As she ran through the dark tunnel, Bestila heard voice telling to turn back and massacre the Siths. To give in into her inner rage. She tried to numb the voices off her mind as she kept running. The sounds of Sicarius's footsteps and saber slicing through the stone walls only made Bastila run faster. That is until she came unto another great chamber, it seemed to be another tomb. It was newer than Bane's...she went towards the stone gate that was the exit. It was sealed tight. Bastila tried to use the Force to pry it open but the gates were too large and thick to pull off and the darkness around her was beginning to take its toll on her connection with the Light Side. She re-ignited her double-sided lightsaber, and stood her ground. There was no where to go. Before she could even think of an strategy in order to ambush the Siths, Darth Sicarius was standing in the entrance of the tunnel looking at her. His red lightsaber illuminating his dark robes. "You're in my playground, Jedi." Sicarius said jumping over the tomb, now overlooking Bastila. "The Force is my ally...it will not let me down." Bastila responded. Sicarius smiled and went into the offensive. He jumped over the Jedi Knight and tried to slash her but she ducked away. The red lightsaber of Sicarius slicing only though rock. Bastila pushed Sicarius away with the Force, and then ran towards him swinging her lightsaber. Sicarius blocked the strikes, but there was stiffness in his technique. Bastila noticed this, she focused the Force into her Battle Meditation, and used the teachings that Bane had told her, noticing each and every weak spot in Sicarius defense. When Sicarius lifted his arms to deliver one crushing strike at the Jedi Knight, she quickly swung her own lightsaber as well, slicing through one of Sicarius's hands, for a millisecond her eyes had turned amber. He screamed in pain as his saber hand fell on the ground. Bastila took the opportunity in kicking the Sith in the gut, making him lose the air in his lungs and then using the Force to lift his body in the air and throwing him into the tomb hard enough to shatter the stone into pieces. The Sith laid on the ground unconscious on top of the mummified Sith corpse. Bastila breathed heavily as this had taken a lot of energy to accomplish, she had little to no power left to continue on a fight. But as she removed her gaze from the inert Sicarius she saw the figure of Revan standing in the entrance of the tunnel. Watching. He had been there for a time, just watching the fight. The stone gates opened. Instead of attacking the weakened Bastila, Revan walked towards his apprentice to make sure he still lived. The Jedi Knight proceeded to run off as the Dark Lord was distracted, but as she ran back towards her shuttle she began to feel a different aura within Revan. Something that no other Sith had...putting those thoughts in the back of her mind she reached her craft and prepared to leave.

Leaving the Honor Guard in orbit Darth Revan and Darth Sicarius land on the planet Morraband after spotting the Jedi transport. The source of the disturbance becomes clearer for Revan, however he keeps his calm demeanor. Sicarius is slightly intimidated by the strong dark side powers emanating through the air.
They follow the footsteps left recently by a single human. The steps lead into the Sith Temple.
The phantasm of Darth Bane was able to give Bastila some knowledge of the dark side, what made it so powerful...what made the Dark Lords strong. Rage and emotion. That was what made them unpredictable to the average Jedi, who were more logical in their movements. To defeat a Sith, you must know how they operate.
"Bane, what can you tell me about the current Dark Lord? Darth Revan?" Bastila asked.
"The dark force is strong in him, but he is too unfocused. Wanting to expand his supposed empire through diplomacy and the annexation of planets instead of violently taking what belongs to him by the right of power." Darth Bane said.
Bestila then felt the familiar Force once again, close by. "He is here...but how!?" Bastila was surprised.
"Now put what I taught you to the test, Jedi. Bring down the Dark Lord and his apprentice and the galaxy shall be yours. Such is the way of the powerful!"

Having been relatively close to the Morraband System, Bastila lands her small personal shuttle in what appears to be mountain range. The red sky and crimson rocks reek of darkness, the young Jedi Knight could feel the decayed dark side power gathering all over the mountain range. Spotting several mausoleum entrances in the mountains' walls, this must've been where the ancient Siths buried their lords. But one had the strongest of pulls...she approached it.
She couldn't understand the writing on it, but it had to be important. Once inside, she walked down several stairs into the greater crypt below. The door behind her closed, in darkness, the Jedi activated her lightsaber so she could see. In front of her was a tomb. The writing on it was made using Galactic Basic...surprisingly. "This is the tomb to the greatest Sith Lord of them all...Darth Bane, Dark Lord of the Sith." Bastila read. As she did, the magic surrounding the tomb began to gather around it. The dark red mist transformed into a humanoid figure, it was heavily armored and its eyes glowed bright yellow.
"Entering into a Sith tomb is not very Jedi-like, youngling." The dark ghost of Darth Bane manifested in front of the Jedi Knight. "Do you wish to learn the secrets of my kin? To leave the path of the light and gain the power of the dark?" He asked.
"I have come to learn about the dark side, yes, but not to wield it but to find weakness in it." Bastila said not being intimidated by the dead Dark Lord.
"Hah hah hah...you will soon learn that the dark side holds untold powers. You will not resist. But nevertheless, what do you wish to know, youngling?"

With the dark side growing in power throughout the galaxy, the Jedi feel that the light is being overwhelmed too fast and too quickly. Grand Master Zym feels that in order to defeat the growing darkness, one must understand it fully. But not every Jedi can resist the pull of the dark side...only the strong can.
