Part 5: Atonement

The pelican containing TBlocks, Icywind and Avatar Korra flew towards the hovering Halo above, in their towards it they passed Vien's assault carrier. "We are aboard...humans and Elites. Will you not come aboard, Floodian brother?" Vien asked.

"No, this is our fight and we will see it finished." Icywind responded. The pelican passed the outer hull of the ring and was now moving towards the inner ring, flying above the exposed honeycomb network that made up the ring.

"Cheat, you have the frigate?" Korra asked Cheat who was communicating with them through the radio.

"I'll land her as close to the control room as I can." Cheat replied.

"Safe is better than close, Administrator." Korra stated.

"Roger that, and ma'am...is good to have you back."

TBlocks flew the ship into the area where the control room was, it was snowing heavily on the area. The control room,like the previous one, was located inside an icy and cold tundra. The pelican was running out fuel and had been severely damaged. So TBlocks was forced to land...harshly. He crashed the drop ship onto a snow bed, making the crash not too severe.

Icywind jumped out of the back of the drop ship, he still had the last Banhammer in hand. Behind came out TBlocks and Korra, "Halo...it looks so new, unfinished. I'm not sure what will happen when we fire it." Korra said.

"We'll head to the portal, and we'll all go home." TBlocks responded as he took out his assault rifle. For him, this was the last run. The final chance they all had to not only save Earth and the Septagon, but to save all life in the galaxy. The trio headed down towards the control room, following a snowy path that led to the temple.

On their way there, TBlocks noticed something peculiar that hadn't been therein the previous ring. A structure protruding from the ice. "Where are you going?" Korra asked her companion while he walked towards the opening. Icywind and Korra followed him inside.

Within the structure there was a device of some kind and TBlocks was standing in front of it. "Wait, was that?" Korra asked him, but he didn't respond. Instead he opened it and activated it.

Korra and Icy watched their friend standing there motionless, reading what seemed to be text. "You think he's okay in there?" Icy asked.

The device expelled the Armored Canadian away, his mind was dancing wildly inside his head. The....being, the AI had showed him history, flashbacks of events longed past but its consequences still being felt to this  day. TBlocks turned to his friends. "Let's go to the control room, there is little time to waste."
