The gravitational effects of other celestial bodies are always in effect, Jupiter is pulling on us right now, being challenged by the more powerful gravity of the Sun keeping us in place.

what's wrong with GT, again? as far as i'm concerned it embodies the best of both dragon ball and dragon ball z animes without all the filler in a concise, two-season run. far less asspulls than dbz and dbs (from what i can tell).
super saiyan 4 is a sweet transformation, super 17, baby vegeta and shadow dragons were all pretty cool. gogeta being canonized was nice too.
so whats the deal
it was the execution and the first arc for the most part, oh and the inconsistency with power levels and scaling.

Part 4 is easily the worst imo.
It's incredibly uninteresting and lacks a lot of the style the previous three parts had.
It's one of my favorite looking parts of the manga; Araki started drawing something with a semblance of anatomy and people don't have intense same-face yet.
And small-town scooby gang is fun. Tonio and Shigechi wouldn't have worked right in any other situation, and I'm glad we got Part 4 if only for them.
Part 2 is best part.

If you're on Part 1, it's usually considered to be one of the worst ones (anime and manga). Shortest too, though, so you won't have to wait long to get to the glory that is Battle Tendency.
I don't get why part 1 gets so much hate. Its has loveable characters (Jonathan, Dio, Zappelli, Speedwagon and stuff) and a easily understandable storyline.
