No.
May The Father of Understanding guide us.
Templar, I see you are up to no good again.
I take the world as it is, not as how I want it.
To control and subjugate, Templar? I know of your devious plans of mankind.
The people want order, not freedom. They Want peace, not chaos. They want to be controlled.
Because of the years of chaos you have unleashed to humanity for the past thousands of years, Templar. Free will and liberty are too precious to lose.
Order brings peace, freedom brings chaos.
Your kind are to blame for the chaos, with your hypocritical order.
Yes, we have had our faults. Our times of peril, and some of us have done wrong. But the Creed we follow, the one we hold on to gives us strength. Like an elder Assassin once said... "Nothings is true. Everything is permitted. To say that nothing is true, is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that everything is permitted, is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic." We will keep fighting tyranny, kings, queens, dictators, and anyone who will try to subjugate those without the power to react. We fight for those who can't fight back. Freedom and liberty, the unalienable rights of every man and woman...we will fight for them. No matter the cost.

Hmm...never heard about someone getting nightmares that way. I just heard that you get nightmares when you sleep with your hand on top of your chest.

Not that either.
Hint 1: Look at the avatar.
Hint 2: Look at the nameplate.
Hint 3: The Apple and the Eagle
No offense, but if it's something to do with assassins creed I'm happy to just leave the investigation here
Whatever.

I was given freedom to ask and to deny the things I saw to be wrong, even to an omnipotent.

Master Koala, I need a new hidden blade. I broke mine......uh.......doing things......yeah
It will cost you. You blade is one of a kind, part of your being. By breaking it you are breaking a part of yourself, and a broken Assassin is dangerous. Let it be only a one time occasion.
Uh, Ted down at the smithy makes them everyday for like $30. Not really a big deal......
Quality before quantity.
He utilizes damascus steel.....
Pfft. Titanium-alloy is always the best. Rips through the toughest of steel.

It's too boring.
What is?
The world.
, why
The only stuff that happens is fucking depressing. Terrorists, an incredibly small science breakthrough that likely wont be utilised for decades, shit economy, shitty everything. Idiots sat in positions of power hampering real progress because 'wind farms don't look pretty' and stupid shit like that and just generally a world that isn't interesting. The things I find interesting I don't want to do because I'm forced to do it at school and the only way to get a job or university placement seems to be by doing things that are irrelevant to it. Call me up when we land a human on Mars or we develop Nuclear Fusion as a reliable power source. Fuck, even a nuclear war or zombie virus would be interesting as your concerns aren't menial shit like if your CV looks good, just food and water, just simple.
There's a reason I like writing science fiction. The world I'm creating is a world I want to experience. Because this one isn't.
/rant
We are in that moment in history that bridges in-between science fiction and science reality. It make take us a half a century or a bit more but these times will pass and we will hopefully make our way out of the cradle world and into the stars.
Just give it time.
That's it. The thing that ultinately kills me is knowing that if/when we eventually begin building an interplanetary empire, I will not be around to see it. Or I will be too old to enjoy it.
And as a pessimist at heart, that's a big if in itself. My belief is that idiots holding civilisation back will be the ones that eventually mean overpopulation and the lack of renewable energy mean we eventually go to war and kill each other. That's my view on the world and why I always sound depressed all the time.
Have you ever read a series called Timeriders by Alex Scarrow? Probably not, but I believe they have a realistic vision of the world. Flooding gets rid of a lot of landmass, the survivors are crammed in cities so polluted that you need a gas mask to breathe and the few remaining governments are fitting each other for the last oil drops. In the series, NK ends up releasing a bioweapon virus that wipes out the entire planet.
I'm a glass half full kind of person, but I can see the dangers that humanity can do to itself. But as the Cold War proved, humanity...no matter how dumb it can get sometimes, will never kill itself off. Even if all the bombs in the world were to be set off into all corners of the globe humanity would survive.
We are a persistent species, like roaches, we will find someway to rebuild from ashes. But hopefully that will never happen and we will make our leap.
The Cold War proved we were 20 seconds away from total annihilation were it not for a single ship. If one ship had continued its course, we wouldn't be here right now. And that was when resources were relatively abundant. If that situation happens again, it won't end well.
In a twisted way, I hope it happens so that I can have purpose, because I honestly feel like I don't really have a direction right now.
But it didn't happen. The sailors in those ships knew better. I see that our clear opposite views will never agree.
